Great, quiet location with a wonderful staff. Highly recommend and we will go again. Right outside el Yonque rainforest which was also amazing. Beach was outstanding. Property is generally very quiet. Restaurant was amazing. Don't miss the terraroot ice cream.

Amazing Stay at Wyndham Rio Mar! I recently stayed at Wyndham Rio Mar in Rio Grande, PR, and it was an unforgettable experience! The resort is a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and breathtaking natural beauty. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of either the ocean or the lush rainforest. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after fun-filled days. The facilities were top-notch, from the pristine pools (including a family-friendly one and a quiet adults-only pool) to the variety of restaurants offering delicious local and international cuisine. One highlight was the private beach, which was clean, serene, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying water activities. The nearby El Yunque rainforest adds an adventurous touch for nature lovers. The staff was exceptional—always friendly, especially Juan P at the breakfast, attentive, and ready to go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Special shoutout to the concierge team, who helped us plan memorable excursions around the area. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway in Puerto Rico, Wyndham Rio Mar is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

The hotel was beautiful. The beach was a short walk from the hotel and the staff were so friendly! Joanne and Juan in particular were so helpful with fun activities around the Island, I had an amazing time! We are already planning our return trip back to the Wyndham in February 2025 with the kids!

Came here for our honeymoon and had the best time of our lives. Here from Tuesday to Friday and everyone made it extremely special. Special thank you to Diamond, Reynaldo, and Herick at the front desk who got us set up in our ocean view room, great recommendation for things to do while in town, and helped us celebrate our honeymoon right. rooms and grounds were clean and well kept. some renovations on the property, but don’t let that discourage you as there is still plenty to get out and do. Another shoutout to Jamie at Caicu and Juan P at Marbella. the staff here is all fantastic, and there is nowhere else we would have wanted to spend this special occasion.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Wyndam Grand Rio Mar. The highlight of our trip was meeting 1 of the bartenders at the 5 o’clock bar. Ivan Delgado was amazing. Always smiling, cared for his customers and simply was a pleasure to deal with. We will miss him and look forward to visiting him in the future
