Samoset Resort On The Ocean

We stayed over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I am consistently amazed at the absolute professionalism and attentive nature of the entire staff. For anyone planning a trip along mid coast Maine, Samoset needs to be on your bucket list. Beautiful views, extremely comfortable rooms, and no shortage of local activities. I can assure you, you will never be disappointed. Not only is the Samoset resort a great place to stop along your way, it is also a great vacation destination in itself.

We are local and have the pleasure to visit the Samoset Resort often . As usual, check in was easy , the room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the Rockland Breakwater. In the lobby they had beautiful Christmas Trees up along with other lights and decorations. The standout was the big gingerbread house in the shape of the Rockland Lighthouse. Downstairs to the lounge was beautifully decorated with holiday decor. We enjoyed pizza and wonderful cocktails with friends by the fireplace . The atmosphere was very cozy and we had wonderful service as always !

The Samoset is a beautiful resort right on the coast of Maine. You need t visit and see God's glory as the sun rises over the ocean.

Samoset is a top notch property. The amenities are good. Location is perfect for hikes, dining and relaxing!

Hands down one of the nicest resorts in New England! Ocean views with great golf….Couldn’t ask for more. The food was excellent each night and the cooked to order breakfast was perfect. I’ll definitely be back for a family trip or golf weekend next year.
