The Inn At The Spanish Steps

The roof top bar is closed due to renovation. There is no lobby. Therefore only place to sit is the room. While the room was clean, there were issues with the air conditioner. The automatic air did not work, resulting in a very hot room the first night. After working on the AC they set at 17C and would cool the room but never close to that temperature. During the day would be a little warm. The shower/bath tub is very difficult to enter and exit. A short person needs assistance since there is nothing to hold onto. A person 6 feet tall has a high step into the shower/bathtub. No elevator goes directly to a floor with rooms. You either walk up or down a half flight of stairs. The breakfast in the roof top bar requires to walk up two half flights. The elevator was out of service three times. What is not clear on the website is their rooms are in 4 different buildings. Guests would arrive and find out they were at the wrong location. The street in front of the main building is pedestrian only. So make sure your transportation will help you with your luggage to the door.

We stayed at the apartments not the inn itself, room was clean bed is comfortable, nice, hot shower. Location can’t be beat! 30 minute walk or less to major attractions lots of dining options. And the best coffee bar right downstairs! A little old! And needs some tlc

I stayed here with my sister, son and nephew in March 2025 and had a fantastic time, the suite was beautiful, so clean and very comfortable. The reception staff were both friendly and very informative which helped us find all the major attractions easily. Breakfast every morning was just perfect with Albert serving us and providing us such excellent service, he was friendly and very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend your hotel to friends and family and would definitely return on another visit.

This accommodation and location was way beyond our expectations. Each person here was amazing, with wonderful attitudes and a heart of service. Hajji was here for breakfast and so warm and inviting. Vernett and Kyle was also very kind and took great care of us. The main entrance for the Inn is not really labeled, but seen by beautiful green doors with the white stone border around it. On goofle maps you will see the green umbrellas, which can’t be seen on the street level (located on roof top). Some of the rooms are a few blocks away from the check-in location, so be prepared to walk with your bags. It worked out great, but also be ready to build leg muscles climbing stairs.

Highly recommend this Inn! The stay was great and we even had complimentary breakfast. The service was friendly. Everyone at the inn and even our server named Hajji made us feel welcome. We felt very lucky to be at such a convenient location and would come back again. Thank you.
