About the Hotel

Aleph Hotel Rome is a departure from the traditional Roman retreat. Designed by the renowned Adam Tihany, this former bank turned hip hotel is ultra-contemporary, spotlighting three distinct layers of public spaces that have made it a popular gathering spot. Its location, adjacent to the Via Veneto and just a short jaunt from Piazza di Spagna, also makes it one of the city's most desirable destinations. Nearby are sophisticated shops, sidewalk cafes, celebrated museums and many public works of art.

Incredible service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

It's a nice and comfortable hotel, but would get by on the strength of its concierge service alone. It's conveniently located (right next to Barberini metro station and walkable to the Pantheon, etc) and has a pretty decent breakfast. The bar was amazing as well, and everyone we interacted with was so kind and thoughtful.

Great Value, Beautiful Hotel, Excellent Staff

This Hotel is fantastic. Would’ve picked 4.5 rating if was given the option on TripAdvisor but you can only do either 4 or 5. Small elevators which isn’t even a criticism, rather just a reality/truth which is fine because it’s a historic building. Was incredibly quiet, until our fifth night at which point folks in the suite above us seemed to be stomping around and moving furniture etc. late in the evening and then again the next morning and that was very disturbing. We encountered similar issues at the Mandarin, Oriental, Ritz in Madrid last year and I think a lot of this, is just that it’s one of the downsides to staying in historic buildings; which also has some tremendous plusses, so it is what it is. There is a weird smell in the basement level where the little gym and spa are and sometimes it even infiltrates into one of the elevators- almost a sewage, plumbing-issue smell. This also might just be part of being an old historic building but if there’s anything that can be done to fix this it should be done. I’m not a Hilton/Curio guy, however we are traveling with another party this trip who are loyal Hilton Diamond members and they proposed this hotel for the Rome portion of this year’s European “vacation”. I was reluctant to stay here and started doing my own research prior to committing, and came on Tripadvisor (who I trust for the most part) and saw literally nothing but five star reviews, so I agreed. I am so happy that I did because this hotel is great. We’re in a small one bedroom suite which is great… marble flooring, VERY good air-conditioning, comfortable bed, good shower/water-pressure, clean, no smells, elegant, - you name it. My spouse is incredibly picky food wise and absolutely loves the morning breakfast. We were there go 6 nights and I would be hard pressed to find a staff member that is not a delight. The gym in the basement level is ill-equipped, but with the 10 miles of walking a day in Rome- so be it. Special mention to Michele G. who is/was Reservations Manager who assisted us a couple times pre-arrival with some complex issues and she was fantastic. This hotel is roughly half the price of the St. Regis or the Edition or some others and is likely superior.

Luxury hotel with incredibly friendly staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Location It's two blocks from the US Embassy and in an upscale area full of restaurants and shopping. It's a 20 or so minute walk to many of the key attractions. Taxis and Uber are easy to get. Entrance Super friendly staff. Like in other hotels the lobby was full of Americans waiting for check in time. But staff gave free drinks and wifi and were very helpful. HHonors We were greeted as Diamond members and got an upgrade. Restaurant The buffet had many options Rooms Large and luxurious. Fully updated. Only downside was it was impossible to plug in our Roku. Conclusion We loved this place and would go back in a second.

Arrived early, 12pm, room was not ready. Hotel offered to stored our luggages and offered complimentary drinks while we waited. complimentary bottle of champagne and small cake was in our room to help celebrate our anniversary. All staff were very helpful and spoke very good english. Breakfast was very good, comparing to other hotels we stayed at on this trip. Location is within walking distance to all Rome attractions. We stayed a total of 6 nights. Next time in Rome, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
