Aleph Hotel Rome is a departure from the traditional Roman retreat. Designed by the renowned Adam Tihany, this former bank turned hip hotel is ultra-contemporary, spotlighting three distinct layers of public spaces that have made it a popular gathering spot. Its location, adjacent to the Via Veneto and just a short jaunt from Piazza di Spagna, also makes it one of the city's most desirable destinations. Nearby are sophisticated shops, sidewalk cafes, celebrated museums and many public works of art.

We had the most wonderful experience in every respect during our stay at the Aleph Curio by Hilton for 4 nights in late December. We are loyal Hilton members who stay in their hotels worldwide and especially appreciate their Curio collection and this particular Curio hotel was truly impressive - a boutique feel and charm but with the resources and support of a major hotel brand (which is a perfect combination). Ultimately, we owe our fabulous experience to the professionalism and detailed and attentive care of the hotel’s staff, most particularly the guest relations manager Amira Imbaby. Amira and her staff (including Mariateresa, Carlo and others) were extremely responsive since our initial booking two months prior to arrival and ensured that all of our special requests and needs were completely accommodated. We were celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday during our stay (her birthday was in fact on our arrival date) and my daughter’s 15th birthday later during our Italy trip and thus it was important our family that everything went smoothly. Amira and her staff were creative in providing that ‘wow’ factor and special personalized care upon arrival and throughout our stay which truly impressed my family and made for a wonderfully memorable stay. Below are a few additional thoughts on other areas: Location: Perfectly centrally located in an upscale, safe and convenient area a block away from the Barberini subway station and a 10-minute walk from the Trevi foundation and Spanish Steps and just slightly longer to the Borghese Gardens and Termini station (for day trips). Also a short cab ride from the archaeological zone. The street was quiet at night with no outdoor noise heard from our room the entire time. We could not have chosen a better location. Building: A modern renovated building with traditional Italian exteriors and elegant luxury interiors. The lobby bar is magnificently inviting and the tucked away cigar lounge so comfortable. There is also a nice gym and spa. Rooms: We were in the Basilio suite on a high floor which was essentially a large 1.5- bedroom flat apartment with a spacious dining area and table, living room with sofa bed and extra sofa with additional sitting area and two bathrooms and two bar areas which easily fits a family of four. Impressive also was the huge walk in closet in the master bedroom (which also had its own sitting area) and plenty of windows with beautiful views and sunlight. It was a perfect suite to entertain the family or just relax after busy travel days. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast had an extensive selection with the cheeses and meats fresh and coffee decision. The server staff was attentive. Restaurant: the restaurant on the top floor was elegant and comfortable with gorgeous outdoor verandas. I would recommend dinning up there for a quiet romantic evening or celebration. Service: the front doorman staff were attentive and helpful. The bar staff were friendly. The evening room turn down staff so eager to accommodate and make sure your needs were met. Thank you again to Aleph and its staff. Sumeet Sharma

Nice hotel, food is a bit overpriced onsite but that’s normal. Great for walking to tourist attractions and lots of shopping. If you are there for a few nights then be sure to book a time slot at the spa- use of the sauna, pool, hammam is complimentary but you have to reserve your time. The lady down there wasn’t very nice but we found the actual hotel staff to be incredible.

Prior to arrival the communication was excellent via email with hotel staff. Upon arrival the check-in was smooth and efficient. The staff were very accommodating with a bottle of Prosecco and a beautiful chocolate cake in our room for my partners birthday. We got a complimentary upgrade too which was well received. The hotel itself is 10/10. It may sound random but the whole of the hotel smelt absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious (prestige twin room) and the bed was turned around 6pm. The bathroom was beautiful and had a relaxing vibe. Overall review is 10/10 and I would definitely stay there again. The stay exceeded my expectations. Thank you to all at the Hilton.
