Beautiful grand hotel in Rome!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

This is a classically beautiful grand hotel. The rooms were big and comfortable. The furnishings were lovely but old fashioned so if you are looking for modern, this is not it. I, however, found everything to be beautifully appointed. Great art, classic grand furnishings and sophisticated finishings. The staff was beyond helpful, going out of their way maybt times to assist me and my friends. There was a lovely buffet every morning and the restaurant staff was also very accommodating. We arrived just after Pope Francis passed away and as result, many dignitaries were staying in this hotel. That’s always a good sign! Rome is an amazing city and the Parco Dei Principi is a great place to stay when you are visiting!

This hotel is beautiful inside and out, the perfect representation of luxe and old school glamour. Staff were welcoming, friendly and more than happy to help in any way they can. Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious however aircon/heating was difficult to work and it didn’t seem to work at all. Having a balcony really added to the experience. Bar and terrace area were amazing and the bar staff were very attentive. Breakfast didn’t blow me away, had to pay extra for hot items which at the cost I would think would be included however the continental selection was good. Overall an amazing hotel in a great location.

Flooded toilets (pictures), changed room at the middle of the stay, unfriendly staff and no manager on site point.. staff refusing to serve food at the bar.. only 5 people at a time in the swimming pool.. took one hour to ge the room done.. DO NOT STAY there

Wonderful hotel!

We spent 2 nights last weekend at the Parco dei Principi, Rome. The service we received was excellent!! Unfortunately our flight was cancelled 2 hours before our departure from the UK, however, I called the concierge at 4am to tell them we were on a different flight and they were fabulous!! Our transfer was there ready and waiting. The hotel had our room ready and waiting at 11am in the morning! Housekeeping was immaculate and the reception staff were just 5*! The outdoor pool was a wonderful release from the heat last weekend. Even though the hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the city centre, we found it a perfect location. We will definitely return!! Thank you Parco dei Principi!

Wow!

Stepping through the foyer of this hotel is like stepping back in time. With its elegant and lavish furnishings, together with its well-informed, polite and smartly dressed staff, you cannot fail to be impressed. They literally could not do enough to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. The bedrooms are traditionally furnished as you would expect from a hotel of this calibre, but came complete with great air-conditioning, fridge, safe, bathrobe and slippers as well as lovely toiletries. We were lucky enough to have a balcony which overlooked the stunning swimming pool, and our room was very quiet. Food around the pool as well as at breakfast was excellent and the service was superb. The swimming pool and grounds are elegant and peaceful, and the hotel is just a 25 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, but you could be a million miles away from Rome as it feels so tranquil here. The biggest surprise is the amazing spa underneath the hotel which has to be seen to be believed. It is as modern as the hotel is traditional - we were just sorry that we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it! I honestly cannot praise this hotel highly enough, and we cannot wait to go back next year!
