Portrait Roma

For a fussy family of four with two teens and high standards, Portrait Roma set the bar far beyond our other travel experiences in North America and Europe. With only 14 rooms, the Ferragamo family has created a “no bad room/view” situation over 7 stories of an amazing built space off Via Condotti right by the Spanish Steps. The meals were delicious, the rooftop view and vibe were perfect for us, and the two adjoining rooms on the 6th floor with 100+ ft terrace were spot on for all-in family fun as well as individual seclusion. The client service and attention was top-shelf (the two 3 hour private tours of Ancient Rome and the Vatican were adroitly curated to meet our needs), and our only regret was 3 nights/4 days weren’t long enough to scratch all of our itches. Next time, Portrait Roma - ciao!!!

The service at the Portrait Roma is terrific. The staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable. When trying to get a taxi to go to dinner, they were calling taxis, going out in the street trying to find us transportation. They even contacted several Uber drivers for us. The rooms are very modern and beautiful. The small kitchen area behind closed doors is a welcome treat. Small refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, etc were nice to have. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom bright and modern. The rooftop bar has great views of the city and a nice place to get out of the crowed streets below.

This is an exceptional boutique hotel for people who love beauty and elegance , attention to detail and want to feel pampered. We have stayed at the Portrait twice now and consider it our go to when visiting Rome-. It represents everything you could want in a 5 star hotel without the high drama.and crassness of some large hotels . Ferragamo owned and run, they really know how to do it and they do it so well. Beautiful rooms, tastefully fitted out , each one is slightly different. The scent of the hotel is magnificent. On the rooftop you will have the most sumptuous breakfast ever. No expense is spared to spoil their guests. Then there is the staff , all just superb at their jobs….. Honestly… you cannot go past this wonderful slice of paradise…

If you are staying in Rome and want to be pampered, this is the hotel you must stay at. From check -in to check out, the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay a dream. Car valet, breakfast and room amenities were all outstanding and the hotel is steps from Hermes, Ferragamo and the Spanish Steps!. Well worth the money!! Nothing short of amazing!

Portrait Hotel Roma is a delightful luxury boutique hotel run by Lungarno Collection (Ferragamo). Excellent location adjacent to upscale shopping on Via Condotti. Our suite was gorgeous, contemporary and elegantly appointed (as one would expect from Ferragamo)…every detail & amenity well conceived & executed. The rooftop bar/restaurant had a beautiful view. The concierge staff was excellent…very welcoming and helpful in arranging drivers, tours and dinner reservations. Five-Star all the way!
