In a serene oasis in the heart of Rome, the five-star Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese is an enchanting boutique hotel. Set in a historic building, dating back to the 1890s, the hotel enjoys splendid views over the Villa Borghese Park. The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Via Veneto provide the backdrop to the area catapulted to fame by the 1960s movie 'La Dolce Vita.' Today it is the exclusive reserve of dazzling designer boutiques, restaurants and bars.

My family and I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and found everything impecable. I encourage everyone that’s visiting Rome to come stay here. We would be back for sure! Thank you!

A great experience. Located in a privileged environment. The service was always excellent and the rooms surprised by combining modernity with the romanticism of eternal Rome. Breakfast is a gift for the senses, with incredible views of Rome

Fantastic hotel. I was with my wife during 3 days, and the services, employees attention and room were perfect. Hotel situation is really good to visit Rome walking, without necessity to use public transport. I recommend to dine in roof terrace, with amazing views.

Reserved via app. Received trip suggestions from the concierge. Helpful but incredibly expensive. Trip from Fiumicino c 40 minutes. Hotel is on a corner with all rooms facing rather busy streets. Looks nice but does not have the grandeur of a typical sofitel like St James, Bayerpost or those in Asia. More office building than palazzo. Check in efficient, friendly staff. Smells very nice. Room as reserved. No upgrade despite being All Accor Gold and the hotel not being full. Some chocolates in room. Design of room is great. Bathroom as well. Nice amenities (dyptique) although I prefer Hermes Orange vert. Street noise however keeps us up despite double glazing and the fifth floor. Marble hallways don’t help either. Wonder how its going to be in summer when hotel is full. Bar on top floor nice. Will be great in spring and summer on terrace with views of vatican and the borghese gardens. Unfortunately a family felt it was necessary to bring their boombox and do kareoke at high volume. Never seen anything like it in a 5 star hotel. Staff not happy but took no action either. Great staff by the way in all hotel areas, from housekeeping to front desk. Location is ok but not great. It is up a rather steep hill. So easy in the morning when you go see the sites, less easy on the way back. Spanish steps in less than 500m, Trevi fountains in less than 15 minutes. But fountain and piazza Navonna now (december) under renovation. Did not take breakfast in hotel nor did I use the gym.

I had an amazing stay! The staff is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this hotel! My room was always immaculate; the restaurant was of high standard with a gorgeous view. The front desk team is invaluable and talented. The hotel did meet my expectations. Thanks a lot Sofitel ❤️
