Reviews for Hotel Monte Mulini

The height of hospitality

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

From airport to airport via the Monte Mulini everything was impeccably managed during our 9 days late season holiday. I cannot think of a better description than "excellent". The staff were totally professional but with a personal touch that made the expansive fare at breakfasts a joy. We were a little slow in finding and making use of the facilities and although the sauna and plunge pool were lovely the linked access to the Eden Hotel with its superb leisure complex took us to another cosmos. Impressed - you bet. Blessed with late and balmy sunshine the adjacent beach facilities were then the height of our day time "activities" although we did regularly walk into town for dinner at one of the many quayside bistros. Thank you so much staff at Monte Mulini -m we had a great holiday - see you next year!!

2nd visit to Monte Mullini Hotel.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This was our 2nd visit to the Monte Mullini, and it generally didn’t disappoint. The location is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff go above and beyond in their level of service. Unfortunately I had an accident whilst on holiday, and in particular I would like to mention the hotel’s concierge, Ariana, who is an absolute asset to the hotel. We needed extra paperwork to get home and she made all the arrangements for us to get this. Nothing seemed too much trouble. She went out of her way to check that we were okay. The porters, restaurant staff, pool staff, reception and house keeping are friendly and helpful. The wine cellar restaurant has changed and is now only open until 6.00pm which was very disappointing as the food served is very good. We would have definitely have eaten in the evening had it been open later. We do have a gripe though! We booked an Executive room that advertised a ‘limited sea view’. Be under no illusion if you book this….there is no sea view. It is a view of trees only. Theses rooms are situated on the 1st floor. We had previously stayed on the 2nd floor and had a partial sea view, but apparently these rooms are now Deluxe and more expensive. We were not the only guests disappointed by this, especially as the sea view is so spectacular! We booked through TUI so can only assume this is a mistake on their behalf rather than the hotel’s. The hotel has a very chilled vibe but a nice ambiance which we would recommend.

Amazing hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Had a really lovely stay at the hotel, stayed the last 2 weeks of September when things seem to be less busy towards end of season. The hotel was everything we had hoped for, comfortable lovely rooms (bathroom is amazing!). Staff incredible all couldn’t be more helpful and attentive, location and view brilliant - a real pleasure to stay and we have booked again for next year. Not problems in any way but just for information - if you want a quick easy evening meal it’s better to head out into town, onsite restaurant is fantastic but more formal than some of the places in town. There are quite a lot of steps down to the mariner (which is then a flat walk into town) so anyone with mobility issues may need to look at alternative routes.

Wonderful hotel in Rovinj

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

This hotel is worth its five stars. The rooms are lovely and face the sea. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The beach is beautiful and the pool area is lovely. It’s a very short 15 minute walk into town along the water. We use the spa and the services were excellent and reasonably priced. They went the extra mile and gave us cake and champagne on our birthday. Quite a lovely touch. And they have a free wine and olive oil tasting nightly.
