Very outdated resort. Super small. Beach is maybe 200 m long. Food was so bad, the sushi restaurant was literally DISGUSTING. There were not enough chairs for everyone and people would wake up at the crack of dawn to reserve them all with towels and then then not even use them for the whole day. There was a major lack of chairs and barely ANY SHADE on the resort! My fiance burns really easily and after 2 days in the sun we were so sick of it and couldn't get any reprieve with any shade. We went through the 2 bottles of SPF we brought after a couple days and had to spent an enormous amount of money to get another one at the shop. There was very little entertainment. When we got sick of roasting in the sun without any shade the whole day, our only other option really was to hang out in our room which was incredibly boring. We were ready to leave after 2-3 days. For >$2000 per person for the week, we would have expected a lot more. So disappointing.

The last three days we stayed, the place was 90 percent shut down, yet we were charged for a fully functional resort. Only one food place was open- the coffee hut had a pot of self serve coffee, they should have refunded us for the last three days that had an awkward feeling of a place going under.

This is my fourth visit to The Jewel, and I have to say—it never disappoints! From the moment you arrive, the staff is laser-focused on making your stay truly unforgettable. Whether it's the friendly faces at the front desk, the helpful concierge, the attentive dining staff, or the amazing team on the beach, every single employee I’ve encountered goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. Honestly, if I ever stayed anywhere else in Jamaica, I’d want this team to be there—they’re just that amazing at what they do! The food at the restaurants? Consistently delicious. The grounds? Impeccably maintained. And the sunsets from the beach? Absolutely breathtaking! If you’re considering a vacation in Jamaica, I wholeheartedly recommend The Jewel—it’s an experience you won’t regret! 🌴✨

You have a great time trying all the drinks, watching the sea, going to the snorkeling area, there are beautiful little fish, it has very good facilities and the staff is very friendly at all times, since the breakfast time, the delicious smoothies, the service. hyper warm spa, they are attentive without being annoying and they are fun without stopping paying attention to the main thing. I really liked the place and walking next to the sea, in photos it seems smaller but the beach is great and in the little gardens you can see jungle animals :) it is very safe and pleasant to stay here.

This was my 3rd visit to Jewel (2nd long-stay). It's a great go-to spot. Love the cheerful environment and friendly staff. It's good for a quiet solo escape. One MUST try the Radiant Spa while you're there.. and if you do... ask for Naseala -- She's amazing!! I will say though that they do need more variety on the buffet menu (particularly the salad bar) but overall this visit was well enjoyed, and I'm always happy to return. Will recommend to anyone looking for a nice boutique-type tucked away all-inclusive resort in St. Ann, Jamaica.
