About the Hotel

With its steepled roof, traditional carillon and symbolic cross, it would be easy to mistake Aranwa Sacred Valley as a place of worship. A jagged Peruvian mountaintop serves as the backdrop for this property, located in Urubamba, about a 30-minute drive from Cusco. Built on a plot of land where an 18th-century colonial hacienda once stood, this riverside hideaway, features a collection of historically-inspired rooms coupled with modern elements and a minimalist design. Architectural excellence abounds at every turn, from the glass-covered orchid pyramid to the 24-seat on-site theater.

Beautiful resort and awesome staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 hours ago

The resort is amazing, I wished we could have stayed longer! Addionally, the staff were all amazing, extremely helpful and very friendly. Gualhato ( Appologies, I have probably butchered his name) was manning the check in for breakfast every morning of our stay. He made sure to learn and use our names and checked to verify that we had everything we needed. I my opinion he went well above and beyond to ensure we had a great visit. The Aranwa resort is a great place to stay in the Sacred Valley! Be sure to give yourself a day to just relax and enjoy the facility and the amazing staff!

Such a beautiful hotel, a mirage. Big rooms, wonderful gardens Beautiful staff, helpful and polite Good service. Dinner was delicious. Also there was live music which we enjoyed a lot. We shopped from the shops, visited the photo gallery.

A Magic Journey

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The Hotel is a beautiful site within Sacred Valley. The people are kind, professional and always available with a smile. After a few days you will know their makes and they know yours and they greet you by name. A special touch. The stay was so pleasant with a touch of magic and the ideal base for exploring the region of the Quero and the Inca.

Outstanding Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

After an exhausting but exhilarating day in Machu Picchu we arrived tired and a little wet at Aranwa Sacred Valley. The welcome from José Vasquez and his front desk team at check-in was wonderful. Our “suite” if you can call it that was a beautifully decorated full-on villa with private garden terraces overlooking a small lake. One of the most luxurious rooms I have ever seen in over 30 years of personal and professional travel. Breakfast next morning was superb, with exceptionally friendly and attentive service from the team including Fabio, Walberto, Gregorio and Diana. This property is not the cheapest in the Sacred Valley, but you certainly get what you pay for and value for money is excellent.
