Carambola Beach Resort St. Croix

We loved our stay at Carambola! The staff is incredibly friendly, happy to answer questions, and just connect. I love to ask favorite places to eat and activities that are a must! We ate at the restaurant on site every breakfast and it's just breathtaking, the food was pretty great too. be sure to try the chop chop and salt fish on the weekends! Our omelette station chefs worked their magic with flare and fun. My daughter enjoyed the daily bacon and pastries. Again the staff was incredible and we loved seeing our favorite maître d' Shinkike, every morning! Also a shout out to Elsa... who managed our check-ins and checkouts like a camp and even helped us move rooms the first night... The ocean front was incredible and we equally split out time between the ocean and the pool, fun waves, never crowded (which amazed us). The beach was very clean lots of chairs and umbrellas! Amazing- go there!

This was our 8th trip to Carambola. There is no more beautiful atmosphere: beach, trees, lawn than Carambola. Marriott service and upkeep has much to desire. Picture our bathroom door below, a towel, the door was removed. No microwave, no remote for the air unit was there upon arrival. Moldings missing from windows. They're cannibalizing some units to repair others. Missing pictures on the walls. Vines 20' long growing out of roof gutters. Way, way below Motel 6 standards. It's very sad, we loved the place. I am Robert Sabree. The waitress name Ms. Denisa (Nish) was very considerate and answered all the numerous questions I had regarding food and drink selections. She is very soft spoken, kind, articulate and knowledgeable. She made my wife feel at home. At that moment, my wife declared we will return next year with our extended family. I'm a business owner, she is the kind of employee I search for. I wish I could entice her to come work for my company customer

Carambola Beach Resort, St. Croix Is so beautiful, the staff,especially Elsa who works the front desk, went out of her way to help us. She did far more than I believe anyone else would do ANYWHERE!!.Everyone there made us feel wanted,safe, and so appreciated. The entire island was the same. From the taxi drivers to the shop clerks. The resort is off by itself, private with a private beach. We had 2 large tvs in our room. Which we never turned on. I wish that some of the guests that smoke would not have left cigarette butts on the beach and grounds. Drinks were well made. The food was fairly good. The regular chef was not there due to a family emergency and considering the fact it is an island. No complaints there. The breakfast was always good and as much as you wanted. The omelet chef was my favorite. He makes great omelets. Be sure to try them. I do recommend renting a car from the airport and returning it there when you leave, taxis get expensive. You do have to drive on the left side of the road. Which is not as hard as I thought it would be. Be sure to stay at Carambola Beach Resort. You will not be sorry. We will stay there again.

We went there to dive from a different resort. We were immediately greeted by Wade with a smile and a golf cart to get all of our gear down to the dive shop. He quickly let us know that he would take care of us and we didn't need to do a thing. It was a wonderful greeting and a fine place to dive. Wade your kindness make the week!
