I booked Mount Cinnamon for a mother-daughter trip for my mom's birthday in Grenada. We stayed a total of 6 nights, 5 nights in the 2 bedroom villa, and 1 night at the Cinnamon Suites (their new building). Mount Cinnamon was a home away from home! From arrival, the greeting from Laura the Assistant Manager was superb! She was kind, took great care of us and engaged with us with so much kindness and joy every time we encountered her during the stay. Waking up to the view and the sound of the birds chirping and the ocean waves was everything. As an island girl I was happy. The rooms in the villa are a bit dated for someone looking for a modern stay, but the hotel gives the upscale island vibe. If you want something different and want to feel like you are on an island, this is the place to stay. I will definitely stay there again. The staff was super kind, authentic, and genuine. Akeem and Nicholas who are drivers and bell boys took great care of us and were very attentive to our needs. Rohan at the front desk was a pleasure to work with. To name a few, but all staff were 1000000/10. At every moment you could see higher up managers walking around making sure everything is ok and also asking guests if all is well. I appreciated seeing that. Through the hotel we met a cab driver who we stuck with for the entirety of the trip Declan Ashton 473-414-7526 or 473-449-1687. My only downfall with the hotel is that they didn't necessarily do anything special for my mom's birthday. This was noted in the bookings. From my experience at other hotels, we usually get something special in the room wether its decor, a slice of cake, a bottle of champagne etc. That little added touch would have made the trip excellent, more memorable and added a touch of excellent hospitality. In any case, if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Grenada, that is across from the beach and you want to feel like you're at home? Mount Cinnamon is the one!

A superb boutique hotel. This is our second visit & as before our expectations were exceeded. The rooms, service, Cabana, and restaurant are top quality. The views from our balcony through the Mount Cinnamon gardens to the beach are stunning. We loved the Friday evening beach bonfire and bbq. Nothing is too much trouble for the Mount Cinnamon team and their attention to the tiniest detail is top notch. We were able to explore even more of Grenada with excellent input from the team. Grenada is safe, everyone is proud of the country - it’s a perfect Caribbean island to enjoy. Mount Cinnamon champions the best of Grenada. Laura and Steve deserve a special commendation. They lead the teams with the highest professionalism and always welcome you with smiles and a desire that you are having the best time. We could not recommend Mount Cinnamon more highly.

The bountiful and unmatched landscape embraces the most upstanding & outstanding resort that we could have imagined. Our most gracious, skilled & truly dedicated staff shared treasured advice & activities throughout our stay to encompass all 6 parishes of Grenada in the most spirited manner. We learned, experienced & tasted nearly everything for which Grenada is known. We ventured out everywhere via their transport expert, Chris & usually wrapped up our daily excursion with an energized splash at the base of a notorious rain forest waterfall. The entire staff at Mount Cinnamon are brilliant and whole-hearted with respect to their work, their guests & their land. May they all forever be blessed!

This is a lovely resort in a great location. We stayed here for the first 4 nights of our trip. The reason for staying at this hotel was that we wanted to sightsee for the first few days of our holiday so we didn't want an all inclusive hotel since we were likely to be out all day and we also wanted to try other local restaurants. Our room was beautiful, it was huge with a lovely terrace and an amazing view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was also very big with a great shower. Upon booking we contacted the hotel to ask about activities and for restaurant recommendations, we had to follow up many times before we could get any response and there was a lot of back and forth with emails trying to find out details about trips. It would be good if they could email you some information upon making a reservation like other hotels we have stayed at previously. The breakfast was excellent, there was always plenty of choice and it changed daily meaning we could try new things. We found the staff very friendly but did have a couple of issues when asking for information at the front desk, one of the gentlemen gave us the wrong times for the Sunday BBQ at the Aquarium restaurant and one day we asked if he could book us a table for lunch at the Calabash hotel, he said he would try and book and get back to us, we didn't hear anything and when we followed up he said he had tried but they were fully booked. We decided to email them ourselves and they said they had availability so I'm not sure why he wasn't able to make a reservation for us. The beach area is lovely, plenty of loungers and the cocktails were very nice. We were there for the 50 year Independence celebrations and the hotel had organised some entertainment and local food to try which was nice. For the second part of our holiday we stayed at Spice Island Beach Resort which was amazing, had we only stayed at Mount Cinnamon for the duration of our stay I would probably of rated it higher but Spice Island was on another level so I cannot rate them equally. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when returning to Grenada if we were not looking for all inclusive resort.

Excellent staff, great customer service. Food was exceptional. The beach was amazing and even the food at the beach house was so good. I really enjoyed my time there and loom forward to my next visit. Mount Cinnamon will always be is my first choice when staying in Grenada

“Mount Cinnamon located in St.Georges, Grenada is a lovely & charming hillside property with magnificent views of turquoise water and ivory sand. The most picturesque harbor is the daily backdrop. Staffed with attentive and friendly folks that seem more like family then employees. The villas are tastefully decorated and roomy. The food was scrumptious! The only down side - because of the hillside location - it is ideal to be in good physical shape. For us, we used the "climb" to our room as our excuse for not using the gym!"
