Just returned from a wonderful week at Mt Cinnamon. We were greeted at the airport by the hotel car, and warmly greeted at the resort. My 13y old and I stayed in a Hacienda Suite, it was well appointed, clean and spacious. The suite was big enough for a family of four, so two of us had plenty of space. Two full bathrooms, kitchenette, large master suite and a large terrace overlooking the sea. Hotel location at the top of Grande Anse beach is probably the best position of all the hotels dotted along the beach. The beach is not crowded, immaculate, and the sea was the same - no seaweed/algae blooms and zero plastic waste. The hotel media/marketing team asked if they could shoot some promotional pictures of us enjoying one of apartments, so my daughter enjoyed a couple of hours of photoshoot and we were rewarded with massage for two and a lunch at the beach cabana. The hotel staff were all incredible - from the front desk, breakfast team, bar tenders and guest relations... too many to name, but head bartender swapped recipes on bbq rubs and cocktails, Rohan on the desk magically got us a last minute table at the amazing Rhodes restaurant (top job, man!), Laura the GM was frequently talking to guests and offering advice and help with excursions and places of interest. Everyone was smiles and warmth. The rum shops along the beach are great fun to explore - try La Plywood on Mourne Rouge bay (sunsets are incredible) - bartender Antonio worked with Ralphie at Mt Cinnamon before moving on. Esther's down the beach at the Spice Market has the best rum punches. Umbrellas beach bar and restaurant was a regular lunch or dinner stop for us. 61 degrees further along the beach was also good. The Dive Grenada team next door were also very good and we went on a morning 2-tank dive, small group, and my newly qualified daughter received extra attention from a dive-master so she felt comfortable exploring a nearby shallow wreck. We absolutely loved the hotel and Grenada !

This is our second time visiting Mount Cinnamon after seeing a review for OK! Magazine. This was just after the refurbishment of the pool area, and gym; which were done with no expenses spared giving authentic but modern Carribbean luxury. Barry despite being the boss is always front facing with guests and it feels like a home from home, catering to whatever needs you may have. All his staff are a reflection of his attitude and work ethic, making sure everyone can switch off and relax whilst there. We had a slight issue with our car rental not due to to the hotels fault, and Mount Cinnammon and Laura were on hand to ensure that the issue was sorted out as smoothly and quickly as possible, very much a reflection of the service you can expect whilst there. The cookies every evening really are a lovely touch and there really is nowhere quite like it. We will be coming back for years to come!

The rooms were lovely at this hotel, light and spacious, they actually look like the pictures on their website which is not always the case with hotels! The staff are the real star of the show here. People generally were lovely in Grenada and the staff were also. Special mention for a few: Rohan on the front desk for helping us hugely on our first night, Andrew running the bar was always good fun and made great cocktails, Nicholas running the shuttle service - always so friendly and helpful and another lady on the front desk - I believe her name was Kiyah who was always so helpful going the extra mile and helped us book a sunset cruise. Great breakfast also in terms of the ordering menu, lots to choose from and daily local cuisine specials. Overall highly recommend. The hotel is really well kept and the staff lovely.

The staff were really kind and friendly which is really nice to experience. The resort has a colonial feeling with very nice rooms mine also with a good balcony. Layout of the room was good with a separate seating area and TV (limited channels). Breakfast was very nice but perhaps more choice would really improve it. Quality of the food at dinner was very good. The resort offers transport and if you are a bit unstable on your legs you need this to get down to the beach and back up the hill to the rooms. Lovely beach with good facilities. Overall a very pleasant stay.

My stay at you your resort was fabulous, the front desk team was so friendly and helpful. I must say Mt.Cinnamon is the best resort I have ever been to. Everything went smoothly, down to booking tours, room assistance and the service at the restaurant. The rooms are very clean and well kept as it the garden.

“Mount Cinnamon located in St.Georges, Grenada is a lovely & charming hillside property with magnificent views of turquoise water and ivory sand. The most picturesque harbor is the daily backdrop. Staffed with attentive and friendly folks that seem more like family then employees. The villas are tastefully decorated and roomy. The food was scrumptious! The only down side - because of the hillside location - it is ideal to be in good physical shape. For us, we used the "climb" to our room as our excuse for not using the gym!"
