Time to Relax!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

My husband and I stayed in the King Bed River/Vineyard Suite. We loved every minute of our stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower felt like a heavy rain storm, we had a wrap around deck with a large table and fireplace. It was raining during our visit which gave us an excuse to stay in our room and cuddle. The breakfast every morning was flavorful and healthy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was heated, they have a nice Spa and an outdoor bar. The views of the vineyard were so beautiful, especially in the morning. The push button lights were a little challenging but everything else was divine.

Perfect place for a perfect getaway

We had an amazing stay for a quick birthday trip. Once I booked Jessica, the concierge immediately reached out and was amazing at helping coordinate airport transportation, dinner reservations and even found us a vineyard horseback experience. The ground were impeccable and the staff was all not only courteous but friendly. The room was modern and thoughtfully designed. The location was walking distance to St.Helena which was a welcome bit of exercise from all the eating and drinking. The resort team stayed in communication during our stay via text to make sure our needs were being met. We will definitely stay again.

Great hotel in St. Helena/Napa Valley

We came to Napa to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and had a fantastic weekend. The Alila is a great hotel - love the aesthetic, staff is very friendly and attentive. Our room was beautiful overlooking the vineyard with a stream running beside the property which we could hear from our balcony. There is a top notch gym on the property with peloton bikes. We used the gym all 3 days of our visit, very well equipped, clean. Had only breakfast in our room at the property but enjoyed both times (oatmeal and yogurt, fruit). Would definitely return to this hotel for our next visit to Napa.

Great location, lots of missing features

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Great location and nice room sizes and views, but many of the in-room features were broken (TV, lighting options) and on-site amenities were not communicated well (daily / monthly activity calendar was not up-to-date). The heated pool was also. not well heated. I would not recommend this hotel for the price.

Most Exceptional and Relaxing Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I have traveled extensively in the US and internationally. Alila Napa Valley was one of the most exceptional hotels, welcomes and stays I’ve ever had. Generous sized rooms (especially for CA), extra amenities (like a separate tea kettle, so the boiled water doesn’t smell like coffee - a common feature in Europe and virtually NO WHERE in the US), heated bidet, extra reading nooks, and a completely private balcony made the property exactly the secluded haven I was looking for. To make the stay even more wonderful, Christa, Assistant Front Office Manager, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure I had everything set for my stay - even printing a 175 page manuscript, which she had ready for me upon arrival. Valet service went above and beyond, noticing that my car needed a charge before I could even ask. I will definitely be returning.
