Absolutely loved our one night stay, we wanted 2 but they were closing the next day for remodeling. The room was super clean, bed very comfortable, the view was gorgeous, the grounds were as well. We spent a bit of time by the pool and hot tub, and walked over for supper to the Brasswood Cellars and Kitchen and loved that experience as well. Woke up to a delicious breakfast. We did not want to leave. I will recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone who is going to Napa Valley and am anxious to return. I also want to mention the kind woman who checked us in, with a big smile even if the hotel was closing the next day for repairs. 🙌🏻

Ok. This may be long but worth it. First of all, I stayed here many years ago and loved it. Not so much now. They used to have an evening reception with food and wine. Not now. Grounds and view are nice but it ends there. I stayed in room 20 overlooking the vineyard. Cost was over $500 a night. The room was dirty. Dead and live drain flies in the room. Someone's long black hair on the walls in the shower in several places. Bathroom is VERY dated including 1980s glass block, stained grout, stained sinks, and cob webs all over the outside window. Cob webs on the outside patio railing and very old cobwebs on the railing leading up to the room outside. There was a silica gel pack on the floor from a previous guest. They dont clean the room during your stay unless your there over 2 days, yet only 2 bath towels, 2 coffee mugs, 2 coffee pods, etc.(Yes you can go get coffee etc in the dining area, but im on East Coast time and breakfast etc, doesnt start until 7:30. 10:30 my body time.) Asked the next morning for more towels. Went touring and came back 5 hours later and no towels. Called again and they came promptly. Breakfast was exactly the same both days and from the other reviews I read, its the same offerings for years. Had to go back twice for silverware as the knives had dried food on them from not being cleaned well enough. I also noticed im the only review on here from 2024. The last woman that gave them 5 stars posted 6 weeks ago, yet stayed in June of 2023. Odd. I also notice that the GM has only made comments to 5 star reviews. How about read the real reviews and update the place. There is no lack of great places to stay in St Helena. Im an Airline Pilot and spend a third of my life in hotel rooms, both on my own commuting and on the company, so im not picky but at $500+ a night I am.

We actually booked this last minute after being disappointed by our initial accommodation in the Napa Valley, and our only regret was that we hadn't booked this place early and stayed longer! This was everything we wanted from a Napa retreat. Lovely grounds, beautiful scenery, comfortable bed (with a nice view over the countryside). This cozy little place checked all the boxes. Definitely will return!

We usually stay at bed and breakfast Inn when we travel, but establishments like Wine Country Inn and Cottages have become our new favorite. Our room was lovely, clean and in a quiet location. The bed was extremely comfortable and the black out drapes were perfect for keeping the room dark. Loved the large dressing area and bathroom! The grounds are pristine and wonderfully maintained. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the view of the vineyards. The buffet style breakfast was terrific, so many options and the staff are extremely accommodating. The Inn is conveniently located to town and the other wine yards. We took a long walk in the morning and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. This is truly a welcome escape from our busy schedules and look forward to returning next time we visit Napa.

Just returned from out first visit to Napa Valley and the Wine Country Inn. beautiful peaceful location in Saint Helena area of Napa, close to Main Street, wineries and restaurants. We were lucky enough to get probably one of the better located rooms with unobstructed views from our east facing balcony of a neighboring winery and the hills in the background. Late afternoon snack and a glass or two of wine in the shade on the balcony was so relaxing. Exactly what we came for. The room itself was bright, clean, very spacious and amazingly quiet. In fact the whole Inn had a serine feel to it during the day. The quiet almost hurting our ears! The provided breakfast was standard hotel fare buffet style. Not outstanding, but acceptable to get the day started. Coffee was fresh and hot as was an egg dish, bacon and sausage links the days we were there. Cold cereal and toast essentials, with yogurts and fruits also available. All in all very pleased with our random choice of the Wine Country Inn, and would love to return one day.
