Stayed for a romantic couple weekend. Top experience all around. Incredible service and amenities throughout. Very smiley and friendly staff who all know your name. Very luxurious rooms. Deep attention to detail. Fantastic restaurant (for breakfast). Responsive concierge service. Incredible Spa experience for my wife. Excellent trails around the property. It's nice to see that Meadowood has so well recovered from the traumatic fire.

Thank you for reaching out. I truly appreciate the clear focus and professionalism in your approach to service. The staff is wonderful, and I always measure a hotel by the first point of contact on the property—the bellmen/security staff. At Meadowood, they were all very professional and made us feel welcome from the moment we pulled up to the gate. We chose Meadowood because of the expansive grounds and its more established history. We wanted a place where we could stay on property to hike, have dinner, and experience a sense of space. I had visited Meadowood several times in the early 2000s, and I remember it having a style similar to some properties in the Northeast—gracious, with understated elegance. The rooms were warm, comfortable, spotless, and well-appointed. Our room, number 12, wasn’t ideally located, being close to the pool, so we could hear people enjoying the hot tub. However, this wasn't a deal-breaker. The property falls short in the communal areas. Despite having 250 acres, the reception, tennis courts, pools, spa, and restaurant are all clustered in a small area, which felt cramped and temporary. In particular, the Forum at night was a disappointment. While the food was good and the service was excellent (Chris at the bar is outstanding and a true professional), there was no atmosphere. As a result, the place was nearly empty when we arrived. We chose to sit at the bar, as I couldn’t imagine sitting at a table in an environment that felt more like an airport hotel restaurant. I'm sure it’s livelier in warmer weather, with the outdoor seating and views of the tennis courts, but on a cold January evening, it felt rather soulless. In hindsight, I’m surprised (and a bit frustrated) that the winter room rates remain as high as those at other luxury properties, given these compromises. If you go, plan on leaving property for dinner.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Meadowood, with almost every aspect of it exceeding our expectations. The staff were up there with the best we've experienced (having stayed at countless comparable properties and luxury lodges around the world). Highly recommend to all.

Meadowood Napa deserves all five stars. Good food, facilities and most memorably — the exceptional service!!! The rooms are very clean, and everything is a stone throw away. We will return to try the Michelin star restaurant when it reopens.

I've been to Meadowood probably five or six times now and always had a six star experience. The spa is amazing. You won't find a better massage anywhere. I always go for the two hours and feel l'm in heaven. Tip is included in price. The guest rooms are quiet and cozy with fireplaces, and the best bed and sheets for a great sleep. Very romantic, too. Large bathroom, large deck overlooking beautiful trees. Be able to walk up stairs, though. The staff is very polite as they're all happy to be working in a place with such beautiful surroundings and great patrons. Best breakfasts, not-so-great dinners. Go to Goose and Gander or Farmstead for a lovely meal. Meadowood provides a free ride. (Please tip, though not required.) They have three pools and two jacuzzis which are clean and the perfect temperatures. They also have a gym with classes if that's your preference. After a visit to Meadowood, I always feel rejuvenated and happy and never want to leave.
