Belmond La Samanna

This place understands that luxury isn't just about fancy furnishings - it's about creating moments. The staff moved with graceful efficiency, the common areas were always immaculate yet welcoming, and the little touches (like the evening tea service) made everything feel special. The rooms were havens of tranquility with views that took our breath away.

Okay, so I'm not usually one for leaving reviews, but this place deserves a shoutout. From the get-go, everything was on point. The folks working here? Total pros with a side of fun. Room was spotless and comfy as heck. And don't even get me started on the amenities - top notch doesn't even begin to cover it. Defo recommend!

We traveled to La Samanna for our honeymoon, at the suggestion of someone who has visited the island for more than 30 years. She told us it was the best property; she did not even do it justice! Upon our arrival Claude greeted us. From the moment we stepped through the door, it felt warm and familiar. The staff creates the most cozy and lovely experience for the guests. We were greeted with a room upgrade and a nice bottle of champagne. Such lovely touches. Our accommodations were outstanding! We had a private patio overlooking the ocean, and everything was a close walkable distance on property. We had a couple's massage. I love to get massages; it was the best massage I've ever had. Out of this world. The food was phenomenal from the creole-french cuisine to the lunch fare. The beach staff is super attentive. We took the ferry over to Anguilla to visit their sister property for a Peruvian lunch, and see the beaches that everyone talks about. Think memory foam sand. White, cushioned beaches with clear turquoise water. It was postcard pretty! We had a great time at the resort in Anguilla, and were glad we made the trip. We also got into some water sports and had a great time snorkeling on the beach and jet skiing. We rented a car at the airport and there was ample parking, and super easy to get around. I highly recommend getting a car and eating at some of the lolo's. Overall, our stay was a 20/10. We contemplated adding on another night; it was so difficult to leave.

Very pleased with the stay and the accommodations. Every staff member that we encountered was friendly and helpful. The overall experience was delightful and would choose La Samanna again on our next visit to the island.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The views and beach are gorgeous, loved waking up to the beach waves outside my balcony. The bed was super comfortable, and I absolutely loved the welcome rum and the special treat of Prosecco and macarons in the room. The grounds are immaculate. The hospitality/service at this place is top notch. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, big shout out to the front desk staff- Claude, Francois, Matthias, Sheldon. There was a small billing confusion at checkout and Matthias quickly sorted the whole matter out in seconds. Thank you Matthias and the staff at La Samanna for an amazing relaxing vacation. I hope to return again soon.
