I've traveled extensively, but this place stands out for its incredible attention to detail. The design elements are sophisticated yet welcoming, and the staff operates with an almost choreographed efficiency that never feels mechanical. The common areas invite social interaction while still maintaining intimate spaces for privacy. The evening turndown service with

We just returned from 4 nights at La Samanna for a wedding and everything was perfect. The service we personally experienced as well as observed throughout all of the wedding events was top notch. The beach (as well as the beach cocktail service) was amazing! It's so peaceful and the water is perfect for floating and relaxing. We took a boat tour that went all the way around the island and La Samanna's beach was bigger, more beautiful and definitely more peaceful than any others we saw. We stayed in an oceanfront suite and the only negative from the entire trip was the shower. It was tiny! At this price point, it was the only non-luxurious part of our trip. There was a beautiful tub but if you're not a bath person, you are out of luck. It would not deter us from returning as everything else was spectacular!

Just back from one of the great weeks I've ever had. Myself and 9 members of my family stayed at one of the beautiful 4 bedrooms pool villas. Where to start? Val started reaching out to help assist me with setting up airport transfers, planning excursions, restaurant reservations, and helped me plan a surprise celebration for my wife. She was immediately responsive and helped answer any questions. On arrival, drivers met us just after we picked up our luggage and took our luggage and brought us on the short 10 minute journey to the hotel. At the hotel we were brought directly to our villa--no check in or front desk, just right to our home for the week! We met Allan, who was our villa attendant for the week. He gave me his number which we could text day or night for anything we might need. During the week he set up cabs, restaurant reservations, set up excursions, changed spa times and advised us where to get take out pizza. He Val and Charles helped us throughout the week. They were fantastic. The rest of the resort was fantastic. Restaurants and room service were excellent, both food and service. The beach and pools were fantastic, and staff we great there as well. The villa and pool was beautiful and met every need we had. The few cons of the resort; most notably, the price. Quite obviously the price point is very high. St. Martin is a very expensive island and the resort is probably the most expensive on the island. However the level of quality, food, service and space, I feel, justify the very high price. However if you are interested, take a look at both the room price as well as the menu prices. You need to be ok with 8 dollar cokes and 35 dollar hamburgers. As well, the level of service at the villas also requires (at least to me anyway) a very substantial tip to the villa attendants. The only other downside is the location. It's set on an absolutely gorgeous beach cove--perhaps the best on the island. However it is fairly distant from many of the main island attractions. With traffic, in can be an hour to get over to Grand Case, a prime attraction. However, for us, the beauty and service level at La Samanna made it the perfect choice. We all had a tremendous week.

La Samanna is a beautiful and charming property. It has lots of character and wonderful service. We’ve had amazing experiences with the staff, especially Veronica and Juju. The rooms are very comfortable and the main lobby restaurant is absolutely delicious. We’ve gone twice, and I know we’ll be back again.

This place understands that luxury isn't just about fancy furnishings - it's about creating moments. The staff moved with graceful efficiency, the common areas were always immaculate yet welcoming, and the little touches (like the evening tea service) made everything feel special. The rooms were havens of tranquility with views that took our breath away.
