Crystal Hotel

The housekeeping supervisor is a blemish on this classy hotel. All other staff member s are so exceptional, always smiling treating every guest as if they are the only guest, no matter how busy. From reception, managed by Viviana and her staff including g Julian and Francesco , every porter, the 2 Mr. G. , Manuel . They agreed amazing. And they dining room staff, headed by Luca, Filipa, Davide. And of course there is George. Can’t say enough great thanout him But Sonia, who knows I stay for 3 wheels an have been coming for many years has never checked in to say ‘welcome back’ and ask if I have everything I need. So I complained for several years an d last time my complaint was mention at a staff meeting. She then complained to other staff saying “how dare she complain?” She then proceeded to give me dirty looks several times when she would see me. In addition, following year ignored me. In addition this “supervisor “ decided not to put flowers on the tables. Not enough guests? This is a 41/2 stars small luxury hotel every night, not just when she wants. And today and night the roses are all dead and droopy. She doesn’t deserve to be part of this wonderful hotel. I find it insulting that she hasn’t been fired. But don’t let that stop you from coming here. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Every year we are coming to Abu Dhabi to exhibit at Adipec. This year we stayed once again at Cristal Hotel and there is nothing to complain at all: - Rooms are big and beds are comfortable - not noisy at all - you can get/buy everything at the mall opposite I have to highlight the great service of the Team of the restaurant: Edziel, Milistika, Joy, Elvis, Patrick and Chef Jen! In the morning we had a great variety of nice food from Western to Eastern and in the evening you can either go a-la-carte or joining the 80-100AED (dedeping on your room-rate - no clue how it worked - half of us had 10/20% discount) buffet, which was very good. I am awaiting Cristal's quote for the next year Adipec...

The hotel was very nice with lovely food and very good service. Room was very clean even though a bit small, but nicely appointed. Hotel has a wonderful central location. The coffee served in the evening was extremely strong and coffee served in the morning was much nicer.

The hotel was outstanding. They upgraded my room and very comfortable room However, I had a most unpleasant experience with the bartender Sascha at the piano bar I just asked for cheese without meat but he snubbed me, saying I m busy Not only that, he came back to the table and started misbehaving again Could be racist behaviour as I’m an Indian Never encountered such behaviour in my life

This hotel has the best location in St Mortiz, it is the closest good hotel to the Chantarella lift on Corviglia anad is just a stones throw to the best restaurants, shopping and the famous Hanselmann's chocolates and confectionaries. The rooms are traditional, spotless and quite. The staff is accommodating and helpful. I've been staying here during the Christmas holidays for 40+ years and never been disappointed.
