Just fell short of a perfect score. Positives: Exquisite grounds and facilities. Helpful staff. Convenient parking. Reserve a room with a plunge pool - you won't be disappointed. Needs Improvement: Food and housekeeping services are inconsistent. During our stay, I never received 4 full sets of towels. There was always something missing.

Very nice and pleasant staff. The suite and kitchenette was fantastic. Good food & restaurant options. Best of all - they use electric leaf blowers - NOT gasoline - hence relatively quiet. Gas powered leaf blowers are the ruin of of many Caribbean resorts.

We stayed for 3 nights on an extended layover before flying on to Bequia. I am glad it was only 3 nights as the noise of the pneumatic drills echoing over the pool area would have driven us to insanity. The hotel management did send a pre holiday email advising that some areas of the hotel would be closed for refurbishment during our stay but this in no way prepares you for the noise. In my opinion the hotel should be honest with their customers, advising them that there will be significant noise but offer some value in return, either that or close the place whilst you get the work done. - restaurants and food were good - staff were mostly very helpful and nice - great beach - our suite was clean and well decorated - it’s a big hotel with some areas looking neglected

The best compliments go to the friendly staff. Our room was amazing, clean and everything provided . The service in breakfast dining room was awful . No laid tables in indoor dining room for us every morning of 9 we had to go collect cutlery and coffee cups from other tables outside…we asked for coffee some days it took over 30 minutes to arrive. Over an hour waiting for lunch was totally unreasonable. Lots of building work going on.. drilling etc etc as construction site. Kids pool murky. No hot water on some days. Excellent Italian, Zen restaurant food great quality , friendly staff. Disappointing in places but beautiful setting and location
