Great Hotel!!
Stayed here for the Iron Maiden concert but I usually stay here for business during the week. It's a very quiet hotel with a cool rooftop bar and everyone seems to enjoy working there. Very cool atmosphere for adults and welcoming if you bring your children. This is one of the best hotels in San Antonio.

Weekend at the Thompson
Wonderful experience staying at the Thompson for a family wedding. We used our AMEX and got an upgrade, late check out and other perks. Excellent customer service and impeccable attention to detail.Beautiful property with amazing views.

Luxurious stay
This is such a beautiful hotel. Valet was a bit of a mess the couple of times we had to use them. Nice guys. Just tight and busy. Check in was super easy. Front desk was nice. Our room was gorgrous. We booked the Riverwalk suite. The views, especially at night, were spectacular. My only issue was the HARD bed. I left with severe back pain, unfortunately. Don’t get me wrong—the linens were luxurious—but the bed itself was so uncomfortable I barely slept. If you like a softer bed, beware. However, I did enjoy the spa-like shower, which I needed to ease my back pain. The restaurant on the first floor, Land Race, was lovely. The filet was superb. We briefly visited their rooftop lounge. Wow! The views were out-of-this-world! Overall, we were happy with our stay. I just have to work on healing my back now.

Jonathan at the Land Race restaurant in the hotel took care of us. The food was excellent! This is the second time we've eaten here and we had two different meals and they were both great. A time saving location to eat at when you're in a rush to sight see.

Eric is the MVP!
Eric is the absolute best! Answered every question and gave excellent recommendations, we loved our stay so much! Our work trip was amazing thanks to this excellent care. Everyone was kind but Eric really went above and beyond - go Eric! Thank you so much again.
