Thompson San Antonio Riverwalk

The bed was hard as a rock. The room was small and the the valet parking was extremely over priced. The advertisement of this location is false and everything about this hotel on advertisement is false. The River walk is no one near this hotel. Someone who lives in San Antonio can easily say this place is horrible. The 5 star is not a accurate rating. I WOULD CONSIDER THIS 3 STAR AT BEST. I would never stay here again and will ensure any one I know will not stay here as well. Being a San Antonio resident and wanting to get away for a night. This by far was the most outrageous and expesnive place that did not meet the cost I spent here. The amount of other hotels that are actually on the river walk are less expensive. The resorts San Antonio has would actually be worth the cost of this location. With the night club attracting ghetto types of crowds and nothing being fully available this location is by far my worst hotel experience in my life. Visiting Hawaii with the cost of living being much higher than San Antonio the valet was $40. This location was $60. That is outrageous. Someone who lives here in San Antonio it would have been cheaper to get a uber and get dropped off here than pay the ridiculous amount. Shame on this hotel for being money hungry or for not having enough money to be able to have a decent cost. Never again would I stay here. Being military I will ensure no military individuals stay at this location.

I was here on a business trip and booked the room the same day. The Hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly and a great location along the Riverwalk. However, I will not be returning due to the insane daily rate for valet parking of $75.00. Consider parking yourself and walking.

My best friend and I Went to Moon’s daughter. Jeremey was our server. He was very welcoming and attentive. We really enjoyed our conversation with him. We can’t wait to come back when I am in town to visit again. Thank you for the great hospitality.

King Suite was perfect! The kids loved it, and we loved the view. The crew were all around GREAT, from valet, bell-men, to the front desk. Room service was great, I just hands down have to say the Family enjoyed the entire experience and stay. The staff made sure of it.

We enjoyed everything about the hotel. the beds were very comfortable. the bathrooms are very good. The staff was ready to be helpful whenever we asked questions. We love that they gave us an upgraded suite with our dogs too. Highly recommend this Hotel.
