Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here for 5 nights / 4 days and it was fabulous and special in every way. It is such a trek from the airport, but so worth it once you make it to the springs. It’s so relaxing and was so easy to navigate. They help you get rides around but uber is also available, it’s just nice to know the resort has everything you can want. We tried to be adventurous but the purpose of our travel was truly for leisure. I am such a foodie so my favorite part was the food: breakfast every morning, lunch at the swim up bar or the gardens, and dinner at either restaurant. The highlight of our whole honeymoon was Ephermal Table (their private tasting menu / chef meal with pics here). The spa was amazing as well. Everyone was so kind to us and it really was so wonderful and accommodating. We met so many people but the best part was the staff. Shout out to everyone and their impeccable service/kindness! My new husband and I spent the first half of our honeymoon at Tabacon. From the moment we arrived we were treated like absolute royalty. Every staff member at the resort went above and beyond to make us feel special and comfortable. The grounds are also absolutely beautiful, like an oasis in nature. The hot springs were our favorite part, we went every day and night of our stay and was the perfect relaxation we needed after the stresses of planning a wedding. The restaurants (including the breakfast) were delicious. We did not want to leave!

The place was beautiful! Natural beauty with all the modern amenities you could want. The warm pool was great bc it was a little chilly and you had to take a shuttle to the hot springs but it was super easy, ran constantly and took 2 min. The food was outstanding…so fresh and delicious-we never had a bad meal. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved seeing the wildlife right on property (hummingbirds, toucans and coati to name a few) we already want to go back

Beautiful resort and such friendly and helpful staff. Having all-day access to the hot springs and a shuttle to the hot springs was so convenient. We spent as much time there as we could. The buffet breakfasts were a great way to start our day, and we were grateful for the wi-fi included in the room and at the hot springs. This was a trip that we truly felt like we were on vacation.
