Great stay at the Andaz

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 hours ago

Hotel is very trendy and great rooms! I had asked for a tub prior to arrival(we were in a suite) and they acknowledged and delivered at check in which was a nice surprise. Huge tub and shower. Nicely appointed room albeit a bit of a walk to convention.

Worked for Me

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Worked out fine for a one night stay. Price was reasonable (I dunno, I paid about $250 including taxes. Whoever paid $700 - I wouldn't be happy either at that price). Comfortable room that is well-designed. Clean and amenities are thoughtful. Appreciated room lighting, bathroom setup, ample closet, and free water, snacks and wifi. Rooftop setup is pleasant, although better for drinks than for food. Not an issue since food is literally ... everywhere. You have to be prepared for an urban entertainment district, but on a Wednesday night in October there was very little noise. Might be a different story on the weekend. All in all, more than fine for the price I paid.

Not much of a boutique hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Bed was hard, hotel was very loud all night from people both inside and outside the hotel, safe didn't work, bathroom had mold in shower, housekeeping had to be called to make up room, robes and towels were threadbare. Would not stay there again.

Terrible Experience at Andaz!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Many things didn't go well during our stay. We could not open the curtains since the room is facing other rooms, so the room does not see sun, fridge didn't work and we asked to be replaced few hours upon our arrival and the food went bad, shower handle broke down, got charged full price for drinks during happy hour. I don't recommend it at all.

Happy at the Andaz

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The Andaz is a great location with great rooms and a professional and friendly staff who welcome you on a daily basis. Excellent service! No one will walk by you without a friendly welcoming hello. Shout out to Junior for a very attentive, friendly quick service at the rooftop bar. It was a busy night and he served us with a smile and perfectly mastered drinks. Always a good time up on the rooftop!
