Budget hotel within walking distance to GasLight district. Rooms next to elevator is loud from the mechanics non-stop use. Fridge in room malfunctioned and caused my very expensive diabetic injectable to freeze and rendered uses less. Rooftop restaurant served average food menu.

Love the hotel, location, the room, potato chips, ear plugs that they provide. Why 4 stars? First, we were placed in a room that smelled like dog urine. We checked in after or near midnight and just passed out despite the smell. It was so strong that it hurt my nose and woke me up throughout the night. I requested the room changed, and I was placed in a different room but the same room type. It was great. Jessica from the front desk has been so nice to work with us to place us in the right room. The only other reason for a 4-star was because the fitness room was so small and had only 1 elliptical machine. I had to fight the equipment with 2 gentleman and had to spend 60 minutes to get a 30-minute workout in this gym. Not pleasant. The connected restaurant, STK was awesome and enjoyed dining.

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of the Gaslamp district and within walking distance of countless restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the modern decor of the hotel and the comfortable, well appointed rooms. The Keurig coffee machine with plenty of K-cups and the hot coffee in the lobby every morning was much appreciated.

Me, wife and kids arriving from long car trip at night. First: front office host tries to put us in a room different from what we have prepaid for. As a matter of fact, not the first time. Next day: room not cleaned, beds not made, bathroom with the sane wet towels we left when we left in the morning. Words from Mr. dont yell at me Yordani Charboniel, front office of the turn at 7PM: “cannot do anything until next morning” Really?

Well appointed, neat and clean hotel in a convenient location! Staff are helpful, friendly and take the time to greet you everytime you enter/exit the hotel which is thoughtful! We loved the complimentary snacks and the coffee machine! Room service was great and very efficient!
