Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego

A GREAT place to stay. So close to so much of Downtown San Diego. We have stayed elsewhere but now, we will always come back here. The breakfast at the Seaview was made to order on weekdays and a good buffet on weekends. We had a great room and the hotel is fully staffed with very friendly people.

Stay 3-night at 1 bedroom King Bed. Great location, walking to USS midway museum, San Diego convention center and Balboa Park. Beautiful view. From the room Comfortable stay. Breakfast at Seaview is superb, healthy and tasty food and amazing services. Love fruit bar and omelet. Stylish fitness center. Will definitely stay here again

Miss Rie at the reception front desk received my family on the check-in day. We are very pleased to have warm welcome from her and her recommendations. The check-in was smooth. Really appreciate her follow-up and assisted us with our malfunctioned luggage lock. The overall experience at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego was great. I will stay in this hotel again when I am back in San Diego for work in Jan 2025.

Stayed for 3 nights for my husband’s birthday weekend and LOVED it! Used a Guest of Honor award, got upgraded to a signature suite overlooking the pool & bay, and was surprised with a birthday cake and champagne in the room. When we realized one of my daughters couldn’t have any of the cake because of her food allergies, the employee quickly offered to get cookies for her so that she wouldn’t feel left out. This was such a nice surprise and we really appreciated the exceptional service. The suite was huge, everything was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The extra space was great especially traveling with two young kids. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated for the holidays and well maintained. I really loved the elevator system! Super efficient, never waited more than 1 minute for an elevator. Our suite was on the 8th floor, and to get to the Club Lounge we had to take an elevator down to the lobby, then a SEPARATE elevator up to the 33rd floor. Normally this would be a hassle but with the super efficient elevator system there was never a long wait at all. The Club Lounge had great food and was well maintained. Plenty of seating and the staff was helpful and attentive. Excellent location right next to Seaport Village. Also walking distance to Children’s Park, and my kids loved going to the playground to get some energy out. Our only complaints are minor: -The water in the Club Lounge bathroom sink was unbearably hot, even with the faucet turned all the way to cold. Not a huge deal for adults but my young daughter almost really hurt herself trying to wash her hands -Parking: majority of the parking spots in the garage are compact, and due to limited larger spots, SUVs/trucks/vans would park in the compact ones and spill over the lines, making neighboring spots unusable. On the 2nd night of our stay, there were several private events/company parties going on in the hotel ballrooms so there were lots of extra cars on top of overnight guests, and even after circling every floor twice, we could not find any spots we could fit in at all. This was frustrating but after notifying the valet staff, they were helpful in offering us a solution. All in all we had a great stay and would absolutely return again in the future.

Great location , beautiful views of San Diego bay, we are lucky to watch the Christmas boat parade in the front of the hotel with lot of people around. modern and great service, the best hotel I have stayed!.Appreciate for all of staffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
