The clang of cable cars, aroma of bold-flavored espresso, and fog that clings to the Golden Gate Bridge all give a snapshot view of why San Francisco is such a delightful city. Hotel Vitale adds another layer of wonder to the City by the Bay. It envious location is near both the Embarcadero waterfront and the lively Financial District. It is situated directly across from the historic Ferry Building Marketplace, where the city's top chefs go in search of the Bay Area's freshest organic ingredients. The hotel's 200 guest rooms are luxuriously appointed with a design never compromises comfort. Slip between plush bedding, walk across cool limestone bathroom floors, and marvel at the spectacular views framed by large windows.

I only came to the spa and got a wonderful massage from Tina, who was absolutely lovely and professional. She made sure I was comfortable and offered tips after to help me with areas she noticed tension. The receptionist Amal was also very kind and helpful!

Tina is the best! She gave me a rejuvenating facial at the bamford spa and was beyond kind. She was also so knowledgeable on all skin treatments, even massage therapy techniques. She was so happy and wonderful all throughout my service. I will def be returning

The best valentines spa by Maricruz and hospitality by Amal. Highly recommend the stress relief massage. The spa was very clean. All amenities were very good quality and sparkling clean. Definitely a hidden treasure in San Francisco. Will come again!

I had to use my Amex FHR benefit, so I booked this hotel at the end of 2024 for a weekend getaway since I was coming to the Ballet. Everything about this hotel was great. Even the elevators were fast and reliable! I made use of the gym for an early morning non-impact cardio workout, and visited the produce stand for some apples and pears. The fruits are supposedly discards, but they were of higher quality than I normally see in grocery stores and farmers markets. Really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the Terrene restaurant as well.

I didn't have the best experience here. I love 1 hotels and have stayed at them around the globe. They are my preference when available. The 1 Kauai remains my top hotel on the planet. I booked via FHR. I didn't receive a welcome amenity or upgrade (I was told I did but no clue what it would have been. I was on a low floor was a partial view of the water. I was so close to the street performers, I could hear them and passerby conversations. There wasn't a fruit stand set up. I was charged for the mini bar and it took escalation to get a response back on why/get it refunded. Overall not the service I anticipated when booking a 1.
