The clang of cable cars, aroma of bold-flavored espresso, and fog that clings to the Golden Gate Bridge all give a snapshot view of why San Francisco is such a delightful city. Hotel Vitale adds another layer of wonder to the City by the Bay. It envious location is near both the Embarcadero waterfront and the lively Financial District. It is situated directly across from the historic Ferry Building Marketplace, where the city's top chefs go in search of the Bay Area's freshest organic ingredients. The hotel's 200 guest rooms are luxuriously appointed with a design never compromises comfort. Slip between plush bedding, walk across cool limestone bathroom floors, and marvel at the spectacular views framed by large windows.

I will NOT stay in this hotel again. After paying an exorbitant amount for a room for a single night (less than 24 hours). The hotel added “amenities “ charges for doing absolutely nothing other than providing the room that I paid for. This BS needs to stop. They also changed me $80 to park AND added taxes to that.

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting SF for the weekend. My son had never been to the city, so I chose this property given the reviews and its location across from the Ferry Building. The location is the hallmark of this hotel as one can walk an easy 20 min to Alcatraz landing or use their free E-bikes to ride over to Oracle or Chase Arena. Check in was seamless as we arrived at 830p on a Thursday night. Valet quickly took our rental car, and we were given room 457 which featured a stunning view of both the Ferry Building and the Bay Bridge. The room itself was tastefully appointed and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom is not large, but it was adequate, and the dual head shower had great pressure. Pros - Location is marvelous. Also easy to walk to several restaurants in FiDi - Friendly front desk and valets Cons - Keys seemed to stop working as we had to get them remade 3x - Gym is quite tiny although it has nice equipment - To get filtered water, one has to walk all the way back to the elevator bay - You have to order your breakfast at the counter and then wait for them to deliver it to your table. While delivery is quick, there was often a queue at 7a to order which was annoying

I absolutely loved my stay at the 1 Hotel San Francisco. The location was perfect and optimal for exploring San Francisco. Valet was amazing and so was the front desk, always ready to help me with any questions I had. Truly such an amazing team and a beautiful hotel, that felt like home while I was away from my home in Seattle. I cannot wait to stay at the 1 Hotel again! Hopefully soon!

The experience was fabulous. Andre, Kayla, and Veronica went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We stayed a second night because we have had such a great time. The hotel has been very dog friendly. We loved all the greenery used in the decor.
