Pleasant Surprise

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Wow! I wasn't sure what to expect, as I used a points redemption and chose the hotel based on location. Check-in was wonderful, and I felt valued as a Titanium member. Received an upgrade to an AMAZING view. Hotel was super quiet and well decorated. Bed was comfy. Only complaint was valet. I wasn't told that the valet was not on site and the text service did not work from 12am-6am--we had a 7:30am flight out of SFO and had to wait 20 minutes to get our car which caused a little unnecessary stress. Other than that, this hotel is a hidden gem!

Excellent hotel with great location

Hotel is a bit pricey but, the rooms and hotel itself are excellent. The view is awesome, location is walking distance to two BART stations, the Embarcadero and Ferry landing. Hotel staff and service were awesome. We had a great time at the bar for happy hour and loved our stay.

GO ALFONSO!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I want to Give a huge shout out to Alfonso! After a long tiring day of travel and Buisness meetings his warm welcome and light on the feet attitude was very up lifting. After he asked me how I was doing and I mentioned it was a productive but long day he gave me a complimentary upgrade because “I deserved it” he thanked me for being an elite member and encouraged me to enjoy my stay. Wow, what a difference in the way we have been greeted in almost every other hotel we stay at. Someone give this man a raise! He made you look good, real good, we will be returning!

Autograph Hotel exceeded my expectations

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This newly renovated Autograph hotel is definitely a gem in the heart of downtown San Francisco! Marriott did an amazing job transforming this hotel into a modern & sophisticated hotel. The decor and atmosphere are both sleek and inviting and the sleeping rooms are large and comfortable with stunning city views!! The service was excellent! I was greeted at the door by Orlando and Nehiad provided a smooth and pleasant check in experience. Esau served us in the lounge later that evening and was great! I look forward to staying here again, as it is located in the financial district making it easy walking distance to all the great San Francisco neighborhoods!

A wonderful experience in the heart of downtown SF

There are so many great things to say about The Jay (which some might remember as the old Le Meridien) - where to begin? It's in a great, kinda secret location in the FiDi (keep your eyes peeled). When you walk in you'll be greeted by beautiful designs by Ruth Asawa. The checkin and main restaurant are on the 3rd floor. The service is impeccable all around. The Third Floor restaurant is not only delicious and beautiful but there is a GIANT patio and they also feature a happy hour - two things that are very hard to find in SF! This is where you get your all day meals. They have a "fancier" restaurant downstairs and outside of the hotel that we didn't love, but we ate most of our meals at the Third Floor and were happy. I recommend the "Omakase" plate for breakfast/lunch (not traditional sushi omakase but has delicious miso-braised cod). Everyone was so nice and accommodating (I'd recently had surgery so needed extra help and I'm sure they were happy to see me go LOLOLOL). I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it!
