Parc 55 San Francisco – A Hilton Hotel is located in the heart of San Francisco, close to the Financial District and on the cusp of SOMA (South of Market). It is the perfect setting for a stay in the City by the Bay. Our hotel is also well connected to the city’s colorful neighborhoods so you can enjoy dining, cultural attractions and the local coffee shops. We are also just a short walk away from the Moscone Center and Union Square.

This hotel is so old and the rooms smell so bad. The first room they gave me smelled so musty I couldn’t breathe, then they gave me a second room and that too smelled so bad, but I just had to deal with it. The sheets are smelly. I had to spray the perfume in the room.

had an extremely beautiful view on floor 28 at Parc 55. Carlton at the front desk at Parc 55 was awesome - incredibly helpful and friendly and made our experience great. Hotel is also close to some pretty cool places. Mostly want to shout out how great Carlton is :)

We were very pleased with our stay at the Parc 55. The skyline views from the room were beautiful and the overall comfort and cleanliness of the property were high. Breakfast was excellent (and a good value with the breakfast-included rate we had). As others have noted the Tenderloin is a bit dicey but we did not feel unsafe or bothered in the vicinity of the hotel. One caution is that some of the rates on the Hilton app do not add in the stupid “mandatory charge” while others do. We booked one which did not (all the way through final confirmation which showed our total for the stay) but then they wanted to add it when we checked in. Suffice it to say this would have been a very different review had they not agreed to “waive” it. While these loathsome charges exist only to enable deceptive pricing, Hilton has overall done a decent job making them more transparent on the app. However, the omission of them from some of the rates here (whether intentional or not) has the potential to make for very unhappy customers, as we might have been. Fortunately, it worked out here, and we can definitely recommend the Parc 55.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by my recent trip to the Bay Area. I hadn't visited since the COVID pandemic, and I typically stay near the Embarcadero district. As a Diamond member, I always prefer to stay at Hilton hotels. This time, I decided to bring my family along so we could explore all the wonderful things the Bay Area has to offer. We stayed at the Park 55 Hotel, and we were very happy with our choice. The staff was accommodating, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. While the decor colors might be a bit drab, that seems common among many hotels in the Bay Area. We stayed on the 30th floor in a one-bedroom Skyview suite, and the views were truly amazing. Noise was not an issue during our stay. I noticed some homeless individuals in the area, so it's wise to be cautious and avoid certain spots. However, we didn't encounter any problems, and overall, the area seemed generally safe. I also want to note that there were no strikes at this hotel. Additionally, they have an amazing gym that is very clean. I highly recommend this hotel! Just a side note: yes, breakfast costs $35, but it offers an incredible spread—not your typical Hampton breakfast. They serve made-to-order omelets. Parking is expensive, but that's not surprising in San Francisco. For families, I recommend taking the kids to the Exploratorium, as you can easily spend an entire day there. Also, be sure to make reservations for popular attractions like Alcatraz and Muir Woods, as they tend to sell out quickly.

This was an OK stay. The room was fine but it’s from the 1990s. It needs upgraded. Also, there’s no sound proofing so you hear the garbage trucks, street cleaning trucks and protests going on right outside. I was woken at 7am every morning. Housekeeping put sheets on the bed with a hole in them. No water left in the room as diamond member and I had to request it. On the plus side, nice views of the city and great bar staff.
