Hotel El Ganzo

We celebrated a birthday at the rooftop at El Ganzo, and it was such a great experience! The drinks and food were fantastic—our favourites were the Ganzo fries, the ribeye taco, and the fish taco. Alan was our server, and his friendly, personable service really stood out. He was proactive and made us feel so welcomed! The views from the rooftop are spectacular. The only thing we missed was a bit of music, but we understood that it was due to a conference happening nearby that requested no music. A big thank you to Dominic and Ernesto as well for helping us reserve daybeds for our group.

The beds are very comfortable and you wake up to the most amazing view. The staff was so accommodating. Making the effort to thank and acknowledge them goes a long way. They are, by far, the nicest and attentive hotel staff of my experiences. Their attention to detail and the ability to remember every guest is impeccable. They knew my drink every time I approached the bar.

I would like to start by saying this hotel and the staff who make everything possible get a solid 4.5/5. A big thank you goes out to the staff at the Ganzo hotel for the wonderful service and experience. Everything was above expectations and our vacation was so wonderful because of it. THE ROOM: 5/5 for the room! The rooms are AMAZING. They are a comfortable size, very very clean, and the view from the patio facing the water is somewhere between outstanding and breathtaking. The room's mix of rustic and modern looks was also very nice. The amenities such as the shower and bath were excellent with a great temperature range from HOT to chilly cold and great water pressure. To add to the list of excellence, the air temperature, whether via A/C or just open windows, was perfect. Overall, the room was certainly one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. THE FOOD: 5/5 for the food! All the food is really good. The breakfast that was prepared for the wedding party was consistently excellent as well as anything ordered by the pools or ocean while laying around. I would recommend the tacos, tomatoes, brussel sprouts and pretty much anything else on the menus. I wish I had tried everything. Thank you to the kitchen and cooking staff for your wonderfully tasty culinary creations. You've got skills! THE STAFF: 5/5 for Alan, Yegni, Jessica, and Mila! I would like to specifically thank Alan, Yegni, Jessica, and Mila for their hospitality and service which was unbelievably amazing with attention to every detail. Alan, thank you so much for all your help and service. You have a wonderful personality and were very fun to get to know. You were very observant, proactive, and attentive with us and made it so easy for us to relax and enjoy our stay. Yegni, thank you for the fun conversations and service during the wedding party festivities. Aside from being reliable, you are clearly a very cheerful and compassionate person and a delight to speak with. I very much enjoyed getting to know you and I wish you all the best. Jessica, thank you for everything you did for us. It was always done with great care and with a wonderful smile. Your easygoing nature and friendly attitude was very welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for making our stay with you so nice. And Mila, thank you for all the assistance at the front desk. We really appreciate you taking the time to make us feel so welcomed and invited into your wonderful hotel. It was very kind of you and your thoughtfulness was spoken of throughout the wedding party. To anyone who also was a part of the staff that I interacted with, thank you as well. It was an absolute pleasure and we thank you all so much for making it so good. However… NOTES TO CONSIDER: 0/5 for the waiter (Mr. Shots) working the PB bar area. The only note I would offer is to the middle-aged waiter with grey pepper hair who works the PB floor bar area — Stop pushing shots at people who are clearly there for a good experience. People did NOT like it and your trickster ways. A FINAL THOUGHT: An excellent hotel with an excellent staff. Other than that, the hotel was amazing and I would both highly recommend it to everyone I know and I will certainly be back for another stay. Thank you for so much! What a wonderful stay my mom and I had to celebrate her birthday! The hotel was full of awesome artwork, every single staff person there was absolutely wonderful and helpful, the food was delicious and the location was relaxing and the hotel had just enough excitement. We enjoyed the morning yoga one day and the fun rooftop pool and although the hotel is located away from the main town area, it was so close to get to when we wanted. Can't wait to return to El Ganzo!

I really enjoyed my stay at El Ganzo. It is a beautiful boutique hotel right on the water in Cabo. The art and vibe here is fantastic. The lobby is a vibe - everything is beautifully done and thoughtful. Rooms are stylish and beds super comfy. I highly recommend staying here if in Baja!
