Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort

2nd visit to LVP Service is the highlight of this hotel, our butlers Pamela Lizbeth and Samuel were world class professionals. Small details executed flawlessly. The Good: 1. Top notch, well organized service. Not perfect but they try very hard 2. Spa services were good and was fair value The Bad: 1. We got upgraded to an ocean view suite. The view and jacuzzi were great but the kitchen and bathroom were 20 years outdated 2. We had a bad experience with the speakeasy. We knew we wanted to go Saturday as we had guests visiting and told our Butler in advance. Our butler told us it was first come first serve and to get there early. We got there early to find all the tables had already been reserved and were asked to leave, we were embarrassed. We told our butler what happened and he then told us we could now reserve a table for 4 for $1000, which we would have done in advance if we were given the option, but our buzz was already killed from being asked to leave. 3. Food was very good but steak and bacon quality were not. 4. I tried to buy a Cuban cigar like I used to at the pool bar but none were for sale and they kind of laughed at me, I am not sure if smoking is allowed anymore. 5. I expect cocktails to be $25 plus but was shocked to find that 3 ice creams at the pool were $50, that made my blood boil. $10 is enough (service charge included). Overall, this is my fourth time in 30 years to visit LV, the service is still top notch but with all the residential towers some of the magic is gone and it feels too dense and newer resorts have surpassed its rooms, pool, gym and spa areas by a good margin. Maybe it’s time for TY to pull a Builtmore and remove some rooms and do a full renovation. Lastly, worth going, but only at the right rate

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Las Ventanas! The service was outstanding, with everyone on-property bringing a happy and positive experience to guests. The welcome ‘ceremony’ upon arrival was an especially good note to begin on. We loved the Sea Grill and Taco Shop restaurants. Arbol was not really our favorite, but we may have been too adventurous with our order. The Super Bowl event was also such a fun and unique experience. The overall resort was incredibly well maintained and had a really wonderful vibe. We highly recommend. Fun perk: The whale-watching right off shore! Just a delight.

"Extraordinary" is an understatement for this place! From the moment we arrived, till the moment we left, the entire staff went out of their way to make us feel special. We visited to celebrate my daughter's birthday. From the daily little gifts for my daughter, to etching out a birthday message on the beach sand, every experience at Las Ventanas went above and beyond to make our stay magical! By far, this was one of our best vacations ever, all thanks to the amazing team at Las Ventanas. We have stayed at Esperanza and One&Only Palmilla as well, and the personalized attention to detail at Las Ventanas is really unparalleled. No other resort in Cabo comes close! I'd like to call out some of the amazing folks at the resort who really went above and beyond. Our butler Fernando helped us organize some amazing experiences and made sure our entire trip ran smoothly. Gonzalo at the Oasis Bar really made every visit to the pool and bar area very special - truly a masterclass in service! Jesus at the Seagrill went out of his way to make sure that the kids were entertained while we had our dinner. Thank you all so much! We will definitely be back!

We just returned from the most perfect babymoon at LVP!! Truly could not have been a better experience. Pedro, Arturo and Fernando our butlers were so attentive and assisted us so kindly and professionally! David at the pool came through with the leg pillow to make me more comfortable (SUCH an incredible detail), and Saul at Arbol made us feel so special both times we visited the restaurant. The warmth and welcoming of the staff is genuine and that authenticity elevates the status of the property and the experience and makes it totally worth it. It really does separate the experience from any other in Cabo. In fact, we spent two additional days at a different, comparable class property, and the experience did not even compare. The level of sophistication at LVP is distinguished all by the staff, and they're honestly the best of any Rosewood property, and hotel, we've ever been to. Thank you so much for making our last trip before we become "mom and dad" so special and memorable!!
