Royal Hotel Sanremo

Absolute perfection Thank you to everyone for a beautiful sojourn in Liguria. This is truly one of the great hotels and it is even more special because it is in ITALY! Everyone at the hotel is extremely professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. Some major luxury hotels have staff with attitude which is disgraceful; Royal Sanremo is in a class of its own. Lovely Belle Epoch hotel. Beautiful landscape and lovely interior. Room had quality bath products,a stocked refrigerator, and comfortable bed with great linens. The interior design was very pleasant and rather opulent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will return.

A very special place which reminds of good old days with atmosphere of good service ,style and wealth. This is what you pay a high price for where we felt that the room does not give the same value. A non working coffe machine and blocked shower drain causing a minor flood swept our illusions away. Petty ?... you can say but with that high price and expectations ,the delivery has to be flawless . The breakfast needs a special note .. it was great . Come early because the que was building up.

We arrived at the hotel with high expectations, and the hotel delivered. Due to a misunderstanding, which was my fault, I had booked two rooms – through two different operators. The hotel management worked diligently to assist in canceling one of the rooms, and before I realized it was my mistake having booked two rooms, the hotel helped in identifying the error. Even though both rooms were "paid and non-refundable," the hotel accepted the cancellation of one room if Hotels.com confirmed the cancellation as okay. In the end, we checked into a beautiful room and had two wonderful days. The hotel breakfast is delightful, served outside in the garden. The pool area is lovely, and the restaurant connected to the pool area served fantastic grilled meat and fish. I stayed here with my family slightly late in the season. The hotel and staff are excellent all round. A classic hotel in every sense. The bar is expensive as mentioned, so expect to run up a bill. But you will do so in luxury ! A fantastic memory created.
