This 23-acre sanctuary showcases the island's natural beauty with its pristine white sands, invigorating salt air, and iconic sunsets, complemented by architecture dating back to 1663.
The resort features eighty-five luxurious accommodations, each offering private outdoor areas and breathtaking views of the water. Guests are invited to discover the serenity of four private beaches and two coves or take in the scenic vistas from the infinity-edge pool facing Mangrove Bay.
Cambridge Beaches is a haven for relaxation and adventure, providing a full-service spa, scooter and two-seat vehicle rentals, and water sports. The culinary experience is equally impressive, with three waterfront restaurants serving fresh, local dishes in an idyllic setting.
A testament to its enduring appeal, the resort has welcomed generations of guests back time and again, each visit adding to its rich tapestry of hospitality and cherished vacation traditions.

I don’t always write reviews…in fact I tend only to write reviews of places that are really brilliant, really bad or something notable to report. This review fits into the latter category. We stayed here for 9 nights. The hotel is in a lovely location. Our room was very nice too - a mid-range room with a very private terrace and wonderful sea views. So far so good. Check-in all good. The ‘Sunken Harbour’ restaurant was very good too. Excellent food and service but very expensive. Expensive is ok IF it’s really special. It was…we ate there on 5 nights.😊 We had a ‘breakfast plan’ so everything and anything we wanted (almost without exception) was included. Restaurant was lovely, staff were excellent. It turns out that November is just out of season so there were no water sports available which was disappointing. The hotel was extremely quiet. Quiet can be great but when it’s this quiet it can dampen the overall vibe somewhat? However, there were some significant issues… Toilet problems in our room (this is a big deal?!) Reception staff varied from very good and helpful to…well the opposite. A variety of minor issues with the spa infrastructure, room (minor leaks, problems with curtains etc) I would expect better from a so-called luxury hotel. BUT, when I asked to discuss these issues with the hotel management they were VERY accommodating, apologetic and professional. I felt valued as a customer and they were kind enough to offer us dinner at their expense on our last night and a free late checkout on our last day. So, overall a very good experience. All luxury hotels can have days/staff that don’t quite cut the mustard sometimes. But if when approached (politely I think) they deal with the issues well - it’s a genuine plus.

The resort atmosphere was very relaxing. The campus was easy to walk around and find the location desired. The fact that food was available without leaving the campus was important. The views of the ocean were amazing. Beaches were wonderful.

The week at Cambridge Beaches felt like a dream. It was a privilege to stay at the oldest and more charming resort in Bermuda. It was clean, comfortable, expansive, lots to do onsite, close to the Dockyard, great restaurants and stunning sunsets. The private back yard, indoor pool, breakfast foods, staff and Turtle Cove beach were some of our favourite parts. We did feel a little isolated from the rest of Bermuda at first as taxis are expensive, but once we figured out the bus system and ferries we were more comfortable exploring and experiencing what Bermuda has to offer.

Returned after 40 years. Resort still maintains the old school feel that we remembered. Great accomodations, beautiful property and superb meals. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Front Office (Ann-Tene McPherson) was very helpful with a minor billing issue that was promptly resolved. We would like to return in the future.

The Resort was comfortable. Great for travelers that don’t mind walking about to get to the local transport or perhaps the local food store. No rental cars for visitors exist. What they do have are electric mini max electric cars that rent for $242 for 24hr. There are other electric mini cars available at the Loren at Pink beach and the Princess in Hamilton for $130 for 24hr. Wish I had known that. I traveled solo and next time I will stay in Hamilton so I have more things to do. This resort is great for some major downtime recovery and not going anywhere. Taxis are expensive even to Dockyard it will cost $20 including tip. Hamilton will cost $55 including tip. Airport to Cambridge $70 without tip and on Sunday they charge $90 without tip. Take cash, very few taxis accept cards. US dollar is the same as the Bermuda dollar, yet the Bermuda dollar state side is useless. Local transport is a bit of a hike to get to the pick up location and $5 one way to wherever you go. Remember no stores are open on Sunday in Hamilton. It’s family day as one of the locals told me. If you want to see the island once you get picked up at the airport talk to your taxi driver and set something up. Travelers might be able to strike a deal. I love Bermuda and will return, and will stay in Hamilton rather than the end of the island.
