A really beautiful hotel
One of the most beautiful hotel I never been. We stay 2 nights in a junior suite with incredible wiew of the lake. The stuff is proffessionnal and realy nice persons that make everything you feel confortable. On the evening we set near the cheminee with a good . wine The food is really good. If you travel to Atlitan lake don't think twice go there You will have a wonderfull and unique stay!

Perfection on Lake Atitlan
Casa Palopo is heaven on earth. Every part of the hotel is thoughtfully decorated and stunning- with the kind of originality one can only find in an independent boutique hotel. Refreshing pools surrounded by curated cactus gardens, backed by the mountainous jungle and overlooking the teal Lake Atitlan. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided to make the most of the lake. The restaurant serves incredible cocktails and cuisine. The team is friendly, fun and very attentive. Little touches make the stay pure magic- a selection of wellness drinks to start your day and a unique gift in the room each nigh.

Great Food, Nice Staff, loads of fun
When arriving to Casa Palopo after a three hour drive me and my family were dead tired and then were greeted by a welcoming staff who showed us to our rooms quickly.The food is excellent, never disappointed. Casa Palopo really made our stay in Guatemala fun and relaxing.

Only Place to Stay in Lake Atitlan
What a fabulous place to stay. We had the Santa Clara suite that had sweeping views of Lake Atitlan. Most importantly the hotel was so wonderful in letting us check in at 10:00 AM as they had the room available. This was SO appreciated as we had flown in on a red-eye and were exhausted. As this is an upscale hotel, it is a bit on the pricey side for Guatemala but if you can afford it - well worth it. The only caveat I have is that if you have any issues with climbing stairs this may present challenges as I didn't see any rooms you could access without stairs involved. The Assistant Manager (Edward) was very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed him and the rest of the staff.

Palopo is the singular most enjoyable hotel I have ever stayed in through Luxury Link or for that matter-anywhere in the world! The views of the magnificent Lake Atitlan framed by the volcanoes in the background is an eye-opening experience that is unmatched anywhere. The management and staff of the Casa Palopo are stealth-like in their first-rate service and guest relations and go above and beyond for their clients. Just to walk the grounds, swim the pools, to view the artwork and furnishings of the rooms throughout the premises is a sensory adventure. Our four days at Casa Palopo was an "extraordinary travel experience of the highest quality in accommodations, service and overall comfort." If you are looking for world-finest class accommodations, natural beauty, superb hospitality - Casa Palopo is the place for you.
