My room was not ready for an hour and a half after the official check-in time; there was insufficient parking provided and I had to walk my bags and gear from more than a city block away; the room was sparsely outfitted and there was insufficient lighting, so the space was dim. I had stayed in a room years ago on a different part of their (sprawling, evidently) property, and it was lovely. I was disappointed this visit.

If you are looking for a true FUNKY Santa Fe experience this place may be for you. It is FUNKY Santa Fe ~ more on the rustic , down-to-earth side ( NOT plush) . I stayed in a section ( The Pueblo) that was formerly adobe apts . Mine had a little courtyard , cute kitchenette area and a fireplace . Very reasonably priced for Santa Fe with all it came with . The BREAKFAST WAS HUGE AND VERY GENEROUS ! There were 5 choices to choose from that were individually made for you ~ along with some buffet items and a free Cappuccino or specialty coffee prepared just for you . . A great savings for couples and families ! The service throughout my stay was very friendly and helpful ❤️🌈

So happy to discover Las Palomas - don't know why I didn't stay here sooner on my trips in to Santa Fe. I have traveled a lot this year, and Las Palomas was a breath of fresh air - clean, peaceful, welcoming, and no issues! A welcome change from chain hotels that send maid service to pound on doors at the crack of dawn (regardless of do not disturb signs). The room was warm (not always the case in Santa Fe), the shower pressure was great... really, the only challenge was tight parking for my pick-up truck. I will definitely return and highly recommend.

The room was ok. I guess you’d call it funky Santa Fe. Might find nicer furnishings at a garage sale. The breakfast was very nice. Fresh fruit, tasty pastries, eggs for protein. Live 3 hours away in CO. When we got home I realized I had left a necklace by the fire place. I called that evening and a guy named John was very nice and said he would check for me and would call back in a few minutes. No call from John. Next morning I call and get Eddy on the phone he says call back tomorrow and he would check with house keeping. I call back next day and ALL I get is him defending his crew. My wife and I always leave some thing for the cleaning person. $5 in this case. So necklace gone and no one knows a thing. My fault for not checking the room better. They can keep their help and their breakfast. The owner and staff are not good people. John no bueno. And Eddy??? Will not return.

I am shocked. What a crappy place. We got a Casita. I noticed that they play it up big like it was some sort of grand resort. It's a shabby little disappointment. We didn't get the place we were promised. It was really hard to navigate the parking. I hope the breakfast is at least what was presented. Save yourself 244 bucks, stay at a motel 6.
