Incredible valet service!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 13 hours ago

The valets were absolutely incredible — all of them! Dennis, Aiden, Kristians, Doug, Bryant, Curtis, Ellie, Keegan — amazingly helpful, courteous, doing everything with a smile, made me feel welcome and respected. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

EV Charging for OVERNIGHT requires shuffling many vehicles needing a charge. Charging almost non-existant.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

VERY disappointed in the lack of EV Charging resources. The valet team did their best trying to juggle the needs of many among a few units. But clearly not enough for today's EV adoption rates. Unfortunately, we will not be returning until they add significantly more chargers. We may even look to other venues for our wedding as guests from Santa Barbara and as south as San Diego EXPECT expect Level 2 charging. We love your property. The rest of our visit, tour, and tastings went well. But this is becoming a bigger and bigger issue. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary!

Beautiful hotel and rooms, but dated

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Beautiful hotel and spacious suite, but the rooms / bathrooms are dated. The toilet paper roll requires you to rotate 180 degrees to acces it. The shower head had to be placed exactly one way to prevent the water from flooding the bathroom. The faucet in the shower was loose, making it difficult to adjust to a precise temperature. No plugs available near the bed (which only had one night stand!) to charge devices at night, which is important for the 99% of us who use our phones as alarm clocks. $70 a night for parking a vehicle. While we enjoyed our stay, and it was cheaper then Shutters or Casa Del Mar, there need to be upgrades for modern conveniences as well as the value for the cost.

Classic hotel on the Santa Monica Beach

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The historic Fairmont Miramar has a classy address (corner of Wilshire Blvd and Ocean Ave) and retains its charms from the early days of Hollywood. We stayed in an ocean view suite in the original brick Palisades building that features photos of the many stars and directors who frequently the hotel and adjacent bungalows. Our end room (with two windows facing the beach) was tastefully decorated in brown and cream colors and had distressed chairs and furniture. The crown molding added a touch of class to our one-bedroom suite. The bed was extremely comfortable. The marble bath was small and had just a single sink. I don't appreciate having to climb into a tub/shower combo and much prefer a walk-in shower over an unusable tub. The location is superb: directly across from the Santa Monica beach walk and easy walking distance to multiple fine restaurants. The entrance to the famous Santa Monica pier is about a 15 minute walk, while the excellent Saturday farmer's market is just a few blocks away from the hotel. The staff was gracious and helpful. They even stored an ice pack for my wife's medical cooler in the restaurant's freezer in preparation for our over-seas flight. I can highly recommend this Fairmont hotel if you are traveling to Santa Monica

Charming stay in Santa Monica

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Love this hotel. Grounds are well maintained and the rooms look great. We had drinks and snacks in the lobby area, service was excellent. You must also try to snag a reservation at Soko Sushi! Staff go above and beyond. My friend lost her phone and they continued to look for it until it was found.
