Nice place in the middle of all the action!

Nicely appointed hotel in the middle of Sonoma wine country!! Rooms were well appointed, walking distance to great dining in downtown Santa Rosa, and easy access to the interstate. We had a fantastic experience and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Disappointed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The cleanliness of this hotel is subpar. Carpets were dirty with spots. Staff is unresponsive. I asked for my room to be cleaned twice and the outer door to be cleaned on three occasions and no one came. I brought food back to my room for dinner and it was never picked up the next day with housekeeping. The food stayed on the desk for three days until checkout. They also tried to overcharge from what was quoted on booking in their app. No room service option at this hotel. Overall a disappointing stay

Great breakfast experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the near by wineries. Hotel is clean and our family enjoyed a game of giant chess and ping pong in the courtyard. Compliments to the breakfast team led by Christy. We were greeted with a big smile every morning. Despite being super busy, every order was taken care of with great detail and the food was delicious.

Basic Customer Service lacks

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

It is disappointing to arrive to your hotel early & be informed your room is ready but you cannot check in & have to wait 5 hours or be charged $75. It was just sitting there vacant?‼️ Wowww A simple courtesy to customers can be extended outside of policy & it was of no concern to the staff. I even called the 1800 number & the rep expressed his concerns about the hotel not showing grace or courtesy being that the room was available. I will not be referring any of my clients due to this issue. My Birthday wasn't acknowledged either. I also left a pair of eyeglasses behind & it will cost 30-60 to have them mailed to me. That is a ridiculous charge. I will be returning to the area and although it was a beautiful property.. I will not be staying at this property again. With over 135,000 agents in our company.. Customer Service/courtesy is upmost important & it lacks here.

Great and relaxing experience

I had a great experience staying at the Sonoma Hyatt. From check-in to check-out, the staff was consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. They made sure to answer all of my questions promptly. The property is well-maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing environment. I especially enjoyed attending the yoga event—it was a thoughtful touch and added to the overall wellness vibe of the hotel.
