Nantipa - A Tico Beach Experience

Hotel Nantipa exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a relaxing, beachside hotel after spending a few days in Monteverde to pick up our daughter from a study abroad program. Everything was great - the grounds, the rooms, the pool, the sunsets, and the restaurant. Starting from when we arrived and were greeted, everyone on the property was super friendly and helpful. The town of Santa Teresa was very cool as well, with plenty of shops and restaurants for everyone. It's a bit of a journey to get there but the short flight from SJO to Cobano is the way to go. I'd definitely recommend a visit! We'll try to visit again.

Great romantic location, (you can walk to local restaurants and shops) friendly staff that goes above and beyond to help you, Eco-friendly resort that offers yoga in the morning with the sounds of the ocean in the background. The bar and restaurant is located on the beach and the servers are very attentive to your every need. We reserved the Ninta Bungalow Beachfront and weren't disappointed, outdoor shower, plunge pool, patio and doors fully opened up to the patio. A little piece of heaven in Costa Rica. We will definitely return

We spent 4 nights at Nantipa for my husband's 50th birthday. It was an amazing experience, and we started planning when we could return with our 10-year-old before we even left. We had a room right on the beach. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep and greet us when we woke up. The beach bed was an unexpected and lovely place to watch read, relax, and watch the sunset. The food was amazing, we loved the simplicity and authenticity of the Tico breakfast. We loved the delicious smoothies and cocktails.

The hotel is magnificent. Everything is perfect to relax with the people you enjoy spending time with or even for a solo holiday! From the sunset views with the bonfire and the highly delicious food at MANZU to the insane quality of room service and the professional yoga classes, the hotel fully exceeds its goals and satisfies everyone who stays, no matter if it is for a short while or for a week or more. However, the feature that stood out the most to us is the staff and the personal relationships that they build with visitors, taking care of everyone as if they are part of their own small family. Hotel Nantipa is such a gem! Everything from the staff (especially Irvin and Bryan at Manzú) to our beach front bungalow to the food was absolutely incredible! We met Harry, the owner and GM, who is the most lovely and welcoming; He truly cares about the hotel and its guests. Costa Rica is so dog friendly and the hotel dog, Lyla, stole my heart. Thank you Hotel Nantipa and Manzú for an incredible stay; I am so fortunate to have spent my 30th birthday with you all! Pura Vida!
