I find that the hotel is excellent in every way—except for the 9th floor, if you happen to get a room right below the Club Lounge. In that case, you should be prepared for a lack of peace and quiet in your room. There is constant scraping of chairs, clattering of dishes, and the clicking of high heels from above—back and forth, back and forth. I believe the staff should wear soft-soled shoes up there; it’s the least they could do to minimize the noise. In any case, if possible, it’s best to avoid staying on the 9th floor.

The Ritz in Santiago is situated in a prime area of town, offering a modern atmosphere. It is conveniently located near the MUT Mall and a variety of restaurants. We loved the hotel’s contemporary design, and the rooms were exceptionally comfortable. The rooftop pool, sauna, and gym provided a perfect place to relax after a day of traveling. My massage therapist, Mariel, was friendly and skilled. She quickly identified my areas of tension and helped me relax. I felt incredibly relieved after the treatment and truly appreciated her gentle approach. The staff at the Ritz Hotel were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, our stay was excellent!

The rooms and facilities may not be too far away from the ordinary, but the care and attention to detail were fantastic. While the general atmosphere of the public areas was old school, the rooms themselves were modern and up to date. The room layout was very similar to most other hotel rooms you might find. However, the details such as placement of power outlets in the desk, the elegant caddy board for the bathtub, how unassuming, yet incredibly comfortable the beds were, all led to an effortless and comfortable experience. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Every time we walked through the lobby, there were 3-5 staff members who greeted us and were available to assist as needed. The bar was overpriced, but that's kind of expected from a luxury hotel at this point. This hotel is situated in a very good location to walk around. Many places such as Cerro San Cristobal, The Bella Vista neighbourhood, Cerro Santa Lucia, Sky Costanera, etc. are all generally within an hour and a half's walk. If that's a bit far for you, then the El Golf subway station is also very conveniently nearby.

I have stayed at numerous high level resorts, even have upgraded status with Marriott and haven’t been so let down from so many different perspectives of a hotel in a while. Maybe if it was a Courtyard by Marriott I wouldn’t be upset, but paying a premium you have a higher expectation of service. The rooms are comfortable except for the fact that I had to switch rooms due to air conditioning that didn’t work well and apparently my service request went unnoticed all day when I informed the front desk. They then tried to blame me for the issue due to curtains not being closed although my complaint came from overnight when there was no sun. Let’s hope room number two can get cool enough to enjoy a good nights sleep cause the first night was anything but. Second the lobby bar while well stocked is understaffed and the kitchen apparently too. I went in for a late night meal only to wait 45 minutes for a salad that wasn’t as ordered and had cold cooked chicken. Not sure what is wrong but not a good experience. All things considered this is not a 5 star hotel. Look elsewhere in sure Santiago has better options.

Excellent Club lounge with breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. Special thanks to Catalina and Chris. Hotel is in great condition with large indoor pool and a small gym. Location of the hotel is very good. All customer facing staff speak English.
