W Santiago

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff. I have never stayed in a place more friendly, and they were always at your service and willing to help. Beautiful facilities with lots of restaurants nearby, including little mini markets to get snacks and water for the room. The gym is a public gym, so there were lots of people, lots of equipment and even classes on offer. The room was clean and comfortable. Truly, a fantastic hotel.

Spent a number of nights in this hotel during my recent trip to Chile. Really loved it. The rooms are extremely well appointed and the decor is stylish and smart. Staff for extremely welcoming and the rooftop bar has tremendous views of the city and the surrounding mountain area Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much.

This was my first time to Santiago. I booked a last minute trip to ski in Portillo. After skiing I decided to stay in Santiago and saw the W and booked it. The W is noticeable to the skyline and upon arrival I was impressed. The capital city was certainly bigger than I expected. I am a platinum Bonvoy member and I was given a massive upgrade. The suite was very impressive. The neighborhood was completely safe and lively with bars and restaurants within walking distance. I wanted to rent a car and head to the beach but it was the Chilean independence holiday and there were no cars available. Looking dejected upon my return to the hotel I spoke to my savior, María José, from the W Concierge desk. I told her I wanted to go to the beach but I could not find a car anywhere. She made a call and she arranged a driver for the entire day and she planned out where to go and what to do. She had a whats app chat for me to communicate with me and the driver as I don’t speak Spanish and he did not speak English, but between Maria and Google translate we, yes we , me and the driver had a AWESOME DAY. We spent the day in Algarrobo snd Vina Del Mar. We had a great day exploring the coast. Hiking , swimming and visiting a couple of very cool communities. Back at the hotel on the roof is the shows stopper. A pool and bar with tremendous views of the city. Music was great and they create that vibe that only the W can. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was fine but it could use an upgrade. I have stayed at the W in Hong Kong and that is the creme del e creme in hotel buffets so they can aspire to get to that level. The reality is the people are what make a hotel great as they help create memories to last a lifetime. People are sleeping on Santiago as I found the city clean, safe and full of friendly people and plenty of activities. Including Maria’s other 5 star recommendation, Cristóbal Park. A paradise for hiking a cyclists at 3000 feet. What a resource to have in a city of 9 million people. Everything was great and the whatever , whenever, wherever was on full display here. Very nice room and hotel more generally despite its rather unique layout. Swimming pool area nice despite being on the small side, I never had any problems accessing and it has great views. My one question mark was around the variety and quality of the food, although the hotel is in a great location and there are plenty of external options if required. Would definitely return if in Santiago again.

I arrived at the Hotel at 11pm after a very long flight from the UK via Madrid and I have to say from the start to the end, how friendly and supportive the staff were. Also, the food is just great too. I even had a swim in the outdoor pool even though it was freezing cold inside it and out. A special thank you to Tomas who greeted me as a long lost friend at breakfast and helped me with my Spanish. Juan Pablo for the service in the bar and the beer. Francisco at the Lobby, Macarena and Polina to being super nice. There were many others but just to name these guys especially. The Hotel itself is well situated if you like good restaurants and from the airport it was only 45 mins tops. There is a gym connected to the hotel and if I had to be super critical (not on the hotel itself) was that the gym opened too late in the morning i.e. 6:30. I needed to be at breakfast by then. I cannot fault this hotel. Simply one of the best and I can say that because I have stayed in a few.
