Aigialos Hotel

We just ended our 2 week vacation to Greece at the incredible Aigialos Luxury Traditional Settlement Hotel. Wow!!! Everything at the Aigialos is so beautiful, comfortable and well organized! The Front Desk, Porter & Waiters were very friendly, attentive, always smiling and helped us with fantastic information & recommendations. The hotel's location is ideal! Just at the quieter south end of Fira, yet in the midst of it all. The hotel arranged our transfers from the port and it was seamless! We used the same driver & company thru out our stay. However, the taxi & bus hub are nearby too. Every Aigialos detail is thoughtful. Our rooms were spectacular! Spacious, well appointed and stocked with luxury amenities. We were in the Skiron & Notos suites and each had their own unique feel. One had a balcony with breathtaking caldera ocean views! The other shared a huge terrace with even more spectacular views! Aigialos is kind of attached to the beautiful Church of the Ascension. We LOVED this historic hotel! Breakfast was served on our terrace & balcony and it's first rate! The Pool is small but deep & refreshing! It's set in the center main courtyard and is slightly covered and shaded from the sun! The courtyard is magical! We enjoyed it immensely! We were fortunate to stay while the owners were staying as well. It was quite clear how much the staff respected the family & how the family appreciated them in return. The family was very friendly & even welcomed us in passing. These are part of the small things that set this hotel stay apart. Kudos to M'Len, Andreas & our terrific morning waiter. You made this stay very special. We highly recommend Aigialos Luxury Traditional Settlement Hotel! This truly felt like a once in a lifetime experience! We can't thank the Aigialos enough! What an experience. This Hotel is out of this world - views , food , service you must experience. Staff are outstanding - Apostolis great introduction and covered what we should do on Island , Antonis brilliant restaurant and bar MGR , a real hard worker , Glofa great chef and food from Breakfast to Dinner outstanding. Andreas - Mr handyman who is across everything and really helpful. All other staff were great , however, the above mentioned deserve special mention. I would recommend to anyone you need to stay at Aigialos.Our week here we will never forget. Thank you so much you are all great people.

A five minutes walking distance (uphill) to reach the hotel. You are welcomed by a wonderful bright red door with blooming Bougainville spread across the entrance. You will see a stunning piece of Greek architecture in front of you and if you just turnaround you see the magnificent Mediterranean Sea on the west side. The staff will welcome you with a broad smile and a refreshing welcome drink and give you a complete overview of the hotel. The rooms are well planned, clean and neat. The downtown Fira with lots of restaurants and bars are just walking distance away.

This hotel is an amazing haven away from the hustling crowds. Everything from the fabulous staff, the incredible views and yes seeing the donkeys every morning. Don’t go to Oia , this amazing hotel had better sunset views from our own balcony. Nick and his team are the best. Look out and head for the zred Door 😀😎🍷

We absolutely loved out stay and truly appreciated the traditional and historic aspect of the hotel. It was well positioned, so close to the town of Fira but tucked in at the edge so that it was quiet, tranquil and just perfect for our stay. Our room was excellent, we loved its unique style, so traditional and luxurious with wow views. We was made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, the hotel team were excellent. Breakfast was a real highlight, so much choice, excellent produce, freshly prepared and all served on a private balcony with amazing Santorini views. Thank you for making our stay memorable and truly special, we will return!
