My bucket list to visit Santorini to celebrate my 70th birthday went above and beyond my expectations. It was made possible by staying at the Petite Palace and Suites! This amazing gem was a true find that made my trip the perfect vacation. My husband and I were greeted by Kostas the hotel manager with homemade lemonade and a seated view of the beautiful Caldera while he went through step by step all the amenities of the hotel as well as an explanation of the free shuttles with times and maps of the island and suggestions of activities. In all the years of traveling this was the first time that I have ever had this kind of reception from the hotel manager, it was very impressive! There was a bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine in the room at our arrival. Our accommodations were immaculate as well as spacious. We had a plunge pool with two comfortable lounge chairs that overlooked the caldera. At the amazing dinner we had in their restaurant Elia, the hotel surprised me with a delicious birthday cake with candles and sang. It doesn’t get better than that! The breakfasts at the Petite Palace were also out of this world! You choose various options and they are made to order and they were delicious! There are even breakfast desserts to enjoy. The highlight of this wonderful hotel is the exceptional staff that makes your visit feel truly special. Everyone greets you with a huge smile and asks you about your tour or how your day was going, making you feel as you are the only person at the hotel. The staff goes out of their way to help you with questions or making phone calls and really seem to care about you. The evening after my birthday my husband and I went to dinner in Fira and the restaurant brought out small cheesecakes with a candle on them to celebrate my birthday. Apparently Vagos had called them up to tell them it was my birthday. His thoughtfulness was so appreciated and I was very touched! Hats off to the incredible staff of Vagos, Orea,Glina, Tina, Kostas in the kitchen and many other folks that I can’t remember their names. Kostas’s leadership has established an outstanding team!! The only regret I have is that we didn’t stay longer. I hope to visit Santorini again and the Petite Palace will be the only place I’d consider staying to make a perfect and memorable vacation! It’s truly an amazing place!

We stayed at Petit Palace from October 25th through October 28th. If you are planning a trip to Santorini you should stay here. If you are going to Greece but not planning on visiting Santorini, then change your plans and book your room in Petit Palace. You will not be disappointed, and your stay here will be the highlight of your trip! The airport shuttle, (arranged by Petit Palace), to and from the hotel was seamless. The staff was waiting for us with a welcome drink when we arrived, and they packed us a continental breakfast for our early flight when we left. The hotel staff handled all of our luggage from the moment we stepped off of the airport shuttle until we had to get back on to leave. The hotel location is perfect. It is right outside of Fira so you don't have the congestion and crowds of Fira and Oia. The hotel provides a free and convenient shuttle for the ten-minute ride to and from Fira. The hotel itself is built into the side of a cliff but there is an elevator, so you don't have to climb too many stairs. The views of the caldera from the hotel are unparallel and you don't have to fight the masses of tourists that you encounter in Oia and Fira to take a picture. The pool area is tranquil and pristine with plush towels and large comfortable loungers with umbrellas. There was a fruit basket and a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room when we arrived. Our room was huge, and housekeeping kept it immaculate. We chose the room with the private jacuzzi in a cave. Again, the views were amazing, and it was great way to watch the sunset while sitting in our hot tub and enjoying a glass of wine. The bathroom was bigger than most hotel rooms and it also had a large jacuzzi tub. The bed was super comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good but breakfast was truly outstanding. Not only was the food delicious but you could order whatever you wanted. The service at breakfast and dinner was very good. The hotel staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. They were extremely friendly, attentive and eager to assist us with any request from answering questions, handling luggage, making dinner reservations, printing boarding passes or arranging transportation. The hotel manager Kostas checked on us every day to see if there was anything he could do to improve our stay and make our visit more enjoyable. We spent nineteen days in Greece and our stay at Petit Palace was the highlight of our trip. This place is truly amazing and one that we will treasure and remember forever!

Petit Palace is the best hotel on Santorini. Their cooked to order a la carte breakfast, from omelets to pancakes to their bread baskets with amazing pastries, were fabulous. The impeccable service provided by Kostas and team were professional, friendly, and personal. We have never been treated so well! The team thought of everything from arranging our airport rides to confirming our activities with the tour operators. They are close to Fira but away from the crowds. The view of the magnificent sunsets from the resort was breathtaking. Our room was well-equipped and most importantly, quiet. With their free shuttle to Fira, there is no need to stay anywhere else. Did I mention their excellent onsite restaurant, Elia?

We did a lot of research before selecting Petit Palace. It all paid off. Great location, amazing staff, unbelievable views...The breakfast was a great start to the day. In all of our travels we could not recall a more friendly hospitable stay.

What a lovely stay! Came for a week at the end of the season. Room was one with hot tub on a large terrace. Staff really made the stay; couldn’t be nicer, full of suggestions and advice for what to do and where to go (beaches, car hire, restaurants at night etc) View is stunning of course of the Caldera Breakfast is excellent - lots of choice, all served to your table (or your room) Room is gorgeous with 2 big hot power showers - perfect after a jacuzzi or hike into town Only bit of feedback really is the evening restaurant wasn’t great food-wise; much better to find local options. And while the buses are great, and there’s a free shuttle to Fira, we found car hire pretty important for at least part of our stay
