Our favorite hotel....anywhere. Absolutely beautiful and relaxing with a great breakfast and wine & appetizer service included, brought to your room to enjoy on your balcony handing out over the bay with dolphins, seals and gulls playing within arm's reach. Ohhh and the sunrises, or sunsets, or SF views are spectacular. One or 2 nights equals a week of relaxing anywhere else. Which is good, cause expensive.

Exquisite! Loved every meal and every minute!
From check in staff the front desk to departure we were so impressed. Every aspect of our stay was amazing! The rooms. (. linens, amenities) special touches are exquisite) - took Many photos of the Bay, Sf skyline- Note: the treats in the room are divine- yes, of course you pay for them. Check out was flawless- really top flight staff.

Lovely place to celebrate a birthday, or anything
Gorgeous views; impeccable service; absolutely lovely/couldn't have been nicer. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and a split of champagne greeted us upon arrival. We asked for Happy Hour wine and cheese plate to be delivered to our room (no extra charge for this) and, of course, they asked if we preferred red or white. We asked for one of each, expecting a glassof each. Rather, we got a bottle of each and were told to drink as much as we wanted and take the rest home. Just a sweet and generous touch.

Unbelievably incredible hotel!
This hotel is the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in! There was everything thought of to give the guests an exceptional, Luxurious stay. The deck overlooking the water is out of this world tranquil, beautiful and you can sit there while eating the amazing breakfast and watch seals swimming right outside the deck. Everything about it was a 10/10. The staff were also excellent.

Superb location and service
This was our second stay and it was everything we remembered. The views over the bay are incredible, but it is the service that really sets the Inn apart. Super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was immaculate and the breakfast and cheese and wine offerings are a lovely touch.

Just returned from a four-day stay at The Inn Above Tide and can't say enough good things about this jewel - a truly enjoyable and quality experience. The quiet room couldn't have been more comfortable or of higher quality. And the view across S.F. Bay - spectacular, especially at night from the balcony. Also, how many places offer complimentary wine and cheese at night? All in all, a delightful place with an intimate, upscale ambiance and very friendly staff.
