First Class Hotel
Absolutely first class hotel. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. The deck was fabulous with amazing views across to Alcatraz. We were lucky enough to have great weather so we had breakfast outside in the morning as well as cheese and wine late afternoon. Staff were very welcoming and always available to help. Valet parking is so convenient. Location is excellent, just a short walk to restaurants, shop and the ferry. Worth every penny! We will definitely be back!

Amazing views and quiet luxury
Amazing views, fantastic service, and quiet luxury sums up my fantastic stay at the Inn Above the Tide. My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate a recent work achievement. It was a perfect get away close to San Francisco with calming views of the city over the bay on one side and fun restaurants and shopping on the other. The suite was lovely and we enjoyed both the complimentary wine and cheese as well as breakfast on our deck. I’m already looking forward to going back in the future!

I could sit and enjoy the view ALL day!
This was a bucket list trip for me as I have wanted to stay at Inn Above Tide for years, maybe even decades. While I must admit the room is a bit tired, and needs some technology enhancements, all you have to do is step out onto the deck or patio and you are SOLD. We had breakfast brought to us every morning and watched the sun rise or the fog fade. We also enjoyed the wine and cheese reception on our deck each evening too. The service was impeccable - likely the best we've ever had from the valet to any of the front desk folks. The location is unmatched in Sausalito. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Hotel on the Water Front
The Inn of the Tide is a wonderful hotel and is not far from drive to San Francisco over the Golden Gate Bridge. The Staff is wonderful as they go above and beyond the duties. The view of the San Francisco Skyline and Bay from the Hotel is Spectacular as well as the Sunrise over the Berkeley Hills. The Ferry is right next to the hotel for quick visits to the City. It's the Ritz of the Bay Area with a better view.

What a view
We had a great view of the ferry, dolphins, sea lions, and so many birds. The wine and cheese was a lovely afternoon break. We walked to shops and dinner. Breakfast delivered to our room was yummy and so convenient! Great location and highly recommend

Just returned from a four-day stay at The Inn Above Tide and can't say enough good things about this jewel - a truly enjoyable and quality experience. The quiet room couldn't have been more comfortable or of higher quality. And the view across S.F. Bay - spectacular, especially at night from the balcony. Also, how many places offer complimentary wine and cheese at night? All in all, a delightful place with an intimate, upscale ambiance and very friendly staff.
