Located on the banks of the Savannah River in Georgia is a hip hideaway that epitomizes Southern charm. Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront, with its maritime overtones and modern sensibilities, houses just 75 fascinating rooms in the town's scenic historic district. The public rooms feature a textured ambiance, with driftwood, aged brick and original works of art working in concert to create an eye-catching motif. Guest rooms, which have a modern maritime feel, are also rich with fine materials that include grained wood, worn brass and smooth leather. The entire hotel experience rests on the absence of ordinary, where unexpected pleasures and pleasing palettes of color reveal themselves at impromptu moments.

The inside is gorgeous. Check in is fast and efficient (although they didn't have the king room we reserved). Rooms are spacious and getting a river view is worth it. Small balcony looking right down on River Street. The not so great: No M Club or lounge for status Marriott. They threw in free continental breakfast and vouchers for the rooftop). Gym is meh. No pool. Rooftop is crowded with horrible service. Cool vibe and view if you can get to it. If you are on a top floor you can hear the bar (Not the worst but you can hear them). Water bottles outside in coolers next to the Valet. Why not just put free water in the rooms then? Restaurant downstairs is fine for breakfast. Skip it for other meals and if you don't have vouchers, hit the diner across the street. Best bet for drinks is to hit one of the places along the river, get a to go cup and sit by the river and people watch. This place is expensive, and the location is worth the money. Only thought is I'd compare rates with the JW Marriott right next door which has an outdoor bar and pool

The hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay here just before Christmas. The location was within walking distance for all the restaurants and sightseeing we did and it was within walking distance of the Christmas market on the river. It's not what I would think of as far as a typical "kid friendly" hotel but they were very kind to my four year old boy and made a game out of hidden gold coins around the lobby that were part of the decor. We would definitely stay here again.

The Bohemian is probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever visited. The decor is art deco and incredible from the moment you enter. The floors, walls, furnishings, even the elevators. The staff are also incredible from the minute you drive up to the checkin to the restaurant staff. Always helpful and very friendly. Views of the Savannah river are amazing.

This was our second “Kessler” hotel of the trip - and our experience in St Augustine was so outstanding that maybe my expectations were too high. But the Bohemian has been disappointing. The staff here is definitely not as knowledgeable or friendly. The front desk gave us incorrect information about available activities. The person who checked us in did not acknowledge my Marriott member status, and, rather than getting an upgrade (which happens often), we were booked into a room next to the elevator and under the bar. As this is St Pats weekend, this meant our room was jumping with the band last night - and likely will do so even later tonight. Menus are limited. The Rooftop bar served me the wrong drink. All likely due to the crush, but still disappointing, when paying a premium to stay here. I’m giving this a neutral (rather than negative) review based on the assumption that the crowd is causing the issue, but we won’t be staying here again.

Well…we loved the room. Eclectic. Interesting. Well appointed. But then it all went south from there. Had dinner at Coastal 15. Manager tried to put us in a tiny corner table but i said no. Then given a nice table by the window. But really? Reservation days in advance? Waitress was lovely but food came out with the wrong orders. Manager then taok back the wrong order but by the time the right order came, i was finished with my dinner. Not the way to celebrate an anniversary. No apology drink or dessert. Really? Then we had parked our car with the valet service. They sent us the link we had to use to get the car. Well…it seems you can’t use that link…you have to use an app. An hour later…. No, we will not be back and i hope the powers that be learn a lesson. Mistakes will be made…but please try to rectify them with a solution that makes everyone feel happy or special.

We found the Bohemian Hotel in Savannah to be a great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast came with our package. We found the food to be very good and in over-sized portions. You won't leave hungry from breakfast!! They even have cold bottled water at the front door, to take with you as you walk around the lovely city. Overall we would highly recommend the hotel.
