Savannah, Georgia, is one of America's most interesting cities. Its series of squares, coupled with its superstitious nature, makes it a fascinating find. In the heart of the city's Historic District is the magnificently restored 1888 Mansion on Forsyth Park, a AAA Four-Diamond property. Mansion on Forsyth Park gives southern comfort new meaning with its collection of lavish guest rooms, an extensive art collection featuring more than 400 original pieces, and opulent public rooms including a lobby cloaked in onyx marble. Classic décor along with modern conveniences create a historic and indulgently luxurious hideaway.

Always taking away amenities and cutting hours for amenities. I booked here and plan ed trips in Savannah with my partner and they always change their pool bar hours. Changed from 11 to 6pm to 12 to 6pm. It was.open earlier on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays at 11 and now after I checked in to plan a weekend they changed the hours of operation to 12 to 6 for weekends. It gets darker earlier and now there is no food to be served where I planned on my morning meeting before having to go to an event off the property. This is the 3rd time I stayed and have been unpleasantly surprised. For a new hotel in which everything is very expensive to stay here, they sure.find ways of "managing" (bc it is poor management) to disappoint or fail to uphold their advertising hours of operations. Bar Bibi, Spa , etc.. if you want to succeed, stop taking what you advertise away from guests. I most likely will not stay here again.

Checked in with an upgraded room only to discover the next day that the AC was broken. We were moved to a lesser room that evening at 10:00 pm. Also, there were refreshments in the room but no ice anywhere. Had to call the front desk for ice but, after waiting 45 minutes had to go down to the bar to get ice. This was an anniversary trip for us but far from our expectations. All we got were apologies and thought the Bardo would have instead adjusted our final bill…

The hotel is modern, stylish, clean, and finished to an impeccable level. The room is beautifully furnished, the bed and linens are excellent, even the hairdryer is by Dyson. The pool area and bar is a great oasis, with an elegant bar and complete with a little gelato cart for poolside snacking. And most importantly, the staff are A+, and the service and hospitality leaves nothing to be desired. Most highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Bardo for our anniversary. Our stay was outstanding! The service was unparalleled. Specifically, Franklin, the hotel driver, was incredibly helpful and a joy to get to know. Desk staff was extremely helpful as was the waitstaff and pool attendants. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We had a girls weekend at Hotel Bardo and it was such a success! Everything was so aesthetically pleasing and the staff was super nice! We spent a lot of time by the pool, we did one of the yoga classes which was excellent, ate and drank at St. Bibiana. Omar at the Front Desk was so hospitable and kind. We can't recommend this location and hotel enough!

The Mansion delighted our senses and whetted our appetite to return again soon. The art, ambiance and atmosphere are simply stunning and thoroughly sensational. My wife and I are seasoned travelers with a preference for the very best – Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, St. Regis, etc. We now anticipate a long and memorable relationship with the Mansion on Forsyth Park.
