From the greeting at the entrance and reception desk, Perry Lane delivers. Sam was very cordial and helped with planning the few days in Savannah. Well located! The room is very comfortable and the size is bigger than most rooms. Just arrived and already know that I am coming back.

Our favorite hotel in Savannah. Elegant, convenient to everything downtown, with onsite dining and fawning service. It's expensive: our midweek king room rate was $314, but, with a load of state and local taxes, and a Destination Amenity Fee ($32/day), plus valet parking ($54/day), the total daily cost is over $400 for this class of room, more on weekends The Amenity Fee includes unlimited champagne (at the Front Desk), free coffee/tea at the Bowerbird shop off the lobby, courtesy transport within a 2-mile radius of the hotel (which we have used several times), use of hotel bicycles, and a shoe shine. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with a large bathroom and a doored toilet. Inconveniently, the rooms have no desk, or even a flat surface wide enough to accommodate a laptop, and no chairs. The onsite restaurant, The Emporium, is first rate, if noisy. There is a rooftop bar, comfortable only in fair weather, though open even when it's cold (with heat lamps). There are two buildings; if you are given a room in the building across Perry Lane from the main hotel, insist on a room fronting on the Lane; rooms on the other side overlook an alley with dumpsters, with regular visits from noisy garbage trucks. We will stay here again.

We had a great experience. The hotel is fabulous and the rooms are great. The car service with “Pops” was a treat. He gave us some history was so hospitable. It was such a nice amenity for guests to have a ride to and from dinner. The bar at the emporium and peregrine were both excellent as well. I would highly recommend.

What a wonderful hotel! Perfect location, immaculate well designed room, terrific breakfast served until 3, popcorn and arcade games at the bar, helpful friendly staff, and just an excellent starting off point for exploring this amazing city.

No valet available in the pouring rain. The desk manager was apologetic and did his best to make it right so kudos for that. We have stayed at Perry Lane 4x and valet parking is always problematic due to understaffing. Breakfast was good but service limited by—-understaffing. No late checkout because …..understaffed housekeeping. The price of a night’s stay does not reflect the lack of services. The staff bear the brunt of the guest concerns. Management should be ashamed. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location that needs more staff to be considered a luxury hotel.
