The hotel is in the perfect location, beautifully maintained with the most accommodating staff. The rooftop pool and bar were gorgeous. Amenities were plentiful. The front desk clerk, Passion, was fantastic and Valets Stratton and Julian were extra helpful!

PLH is in a prime location right on the edge of the historic district which made it super convenient. Check-in was smooth despite the fact that we arrived way early. The lobby was stylish and airy. Room was as expected which was a higher floor, cityscape view. Room was well appointed and super clean. Gym was well-equipped and a nice size. The roof top pool was great. Service was super attentive. The adjacent bar also a great scene at sunset. Emporium restaurant on premises very good, albeit a bit pricey. So why you ask doesn't PLH get a 5-star rating? 2 main reasons. On our second day there coming back from the gym, jumped in the shower which was ice cold. No hot water! So we just chalked it up to maybe it's a busy time of the morning with lots of rooms using the water. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Later that evening, jumping in the shower before dinner and still ice cold. This time it warranted a complaint to the front desk. Turned out that there were a bunch of rooms on our floor that had the same issue. It was resolved after a few more hours but an entire day with no hot water at a luxury hotel is a mark against. Second, this is a more minor complaint.... PLH has an in-house cafe, however, the coffee is not good at all. Also, there are very limited "to go" options for breakfast. Basically just a couple of muffins and croissants. If you want to have breakfast at the hotel you need to order room service or sit at the emporium restaurant. For many guests I'm sure this is no big deal but for our family, we like to have a quickie grab and go breakfast in the morning. So for us, it was inconvenient. All in all PLH is a solid choice if staying in Savannah especially if you are just planning on hanging around the historic district. The roof top pool setup was great on a hot day and the room was also top notch. We wouldn't expect that the hot water issue is something that's a recurring issue. Therefore we would consider staying there again

The location is terrific. The service is very good. Gym is awesome (specious and peloton bikes etc). The coffee is good (which is not to be taken granted). Room specious and comfortable (not amazing but tally fine). Shower great but the design of the switch between shower heads is too clever so easy to keep one running, Concierge said as helpful. The food at restaurant ok, bar (downstairs) fine. All in all - recommended and would stay here again no problem.

Beautiful hotel, well decorated, clean, and in a fabulous location. The hotel has everything you need and you really wouldn’t need to leave if you didn’t want to. Walkable to everything. Really no need for a car if you are just visiting Savanna. The room was beautiful and very clean. Shower is large and amazing. Snacks and beverages for purchase in a small mini bar in your room. Roof top bar was fun with Beautiful, unbeatable view of the city. Plenty of seating with several fire top tables for warmth and very ascetically decorated. Gentleman at concierge desk on Monday was fabulous, He was helpful, professional, and very personable. Hard decision on 4 verses 5 stars for this fabulous hotel. Only two drawbacks during our stay. Upon arrival the check in was very congested with people and not enough help upfront. Very young staff. We were greeted with our champagne which was a treat. However, my husband found his glass to have a deep, large, lipstick impression on the glass he was poured and given. Note, my husband would typically never ever notice or mention any negatives to services given. With that said, he had to hand the glass back. As a response, they replaced it with a plastic cup. Not sure why? No clean glasses? The incident made me uncomfortable that I was potentially drinking out of the other companions dirty glass. Would I stay again? Yes. Items mentioned are fixable and mentioned in order for the hotel to identify areas of needed improvement. Particularly upfront with the check in process. Once we got past check in, our stay was great!

I had the opportunity to stay at the Perry Lane for a long weekend with friends. It was a remarkable experience. First thing I noticed was the style of the hotel. It is not opulent, but it's very luxurious. Beautiful hardwood floors and very tasteful furnishings. We had a corner room. It had tremendous light with (nearly) floor to ceiling windows. Very rich furnishings and design. The staff could not be more accommodating. The bellman are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable concierge and wonderful front desk staff. Great rooftop bar. This has to be the best hotel in Savannah!
