Very clean and well-kept. Rooftop bar area was a pleasant surprise. Fantastic experience with staff: very friendly and helpful. The house car was the cherry on top: I was able to make a quick trip to the Plant Riverside area when I did not have time to make it on foot. Be glad to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the downtown Savannah area!

Immaculate hotel with a cool vibe. A bit far from central river walk but they have a shuttle service to get you there. Rooms were nicely appointed and stocked. Also nice rooftop bar with view of the river. Saw lots of dogs as they are dog friendly. Would stay here again.

We had an exceptional visit at Thompson Savannah. The overall vibe of the hotel is really unique. Kind of a mid century, "Madmen" feel. Staff were all exceptional which is really rare these days... bellman, valet, front desk, housekeeping, restaurant staff and room service staff.. all wonderful. Will stay again for sure!

When we checked in the front desk was very professional. The room was nice, but things went down hill from there. We opted for the valet parking at the extra cost of about $50. When we called for our car to go out that evening it took quite awhile to get the car and we were concerned about missing our reservation. When we returned that evening there was only one person on for the valet service despite a concert night on holiday night when it would’ve expected to be busy. I waited with the car until someone came to get it. When we checked out we found that we were charged for items we had prepaid for at the time of the reservation. When called on this they adjusted the bill, but then put on other items that had been prepaid. Again called and said they would again adjust things and send an email confirmation so far this has not shown up. Needless to say I would avoid this hotel

The bed was very hard. There was cracking in some of the paint in the room. Some of the USB ports were not working and even loose from the base. We got room service our first night and it was ok. It didn't match the price charged. Parking is very limited so you are almost forced to use valet parking, which I really didn't mind. You have to use your room key to use the elevator for floors with guest rooms, which I think is a great idea. We had a beautiful view of the river. Tristan at the front desk was awesome! Very helpful, friendly, and made our stay nice. Bar Julian was ok. We didn't like any of our cocktails. The staff was friendly, though. Bottom line, I don't think we'll be going back.
