Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows is situated on nearly 23 acres of sweeping desert landscape at the base of Camelback Mountain. Mid-century modern interiors draw inspiration from the innovative 1950's desert art scene with an eclectic mix of bright colors, folk art and cultural patterns. The Guest House, a central gathering place that invites visitors to inhabit, explore and create, resembles an artist’s studio in design and offers board games and coloring books, a stocked library and live rotating art collection. The Turquoise Pool features private cabanas and a bar offering up seasonal treats like spiked popsicles and punchbowls.

The spaciousness of the resort and the privacy of the bungalow made the stay restful and romantic. The pool and hot tub area were meticulously maintained, as was the fitness center. We loved our stay and would recommend to friends. The mid-century Eames-style decor was a definite bonus!

This Andaz has been on our travel radar for several years, and we were finally able to visit and enjoy this amazing property. Our wonderful experience started before we even arrived at the property. We exchanged emails with Shane (concierge) prior to visit, and he was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The service was excellent throughout our stay. Our first interaction at the hotel was with Liz during check-in, and she made us feel welcome and knew all the property had to offer. We also interacted with Daniel at the front desk during our stay, and he was equally pleasant and accommodating. As a Globalist, I was blown away by the generous benefits we received during our stay. The daily brunch offering included a great selection of delicious drinks and food, and Kelsey and Stephanie took amazing care of us, so it was a great way to start each day. The dining area and patio have picturesque views of the grounds and mountains, and it is also a great location to enjoy the beautiful sunsets while having dinner or drinks at the bar. Jonah and Javier provided great service at the bar, and they took their time to ask if we had specific requests, understood offerings at the hotel, and even shared the history of the property with us. The Saarinen Suite we received was spacious, well appointed, and very quiet at night, and the setup of the bungalows created an additional feeling of privacy and serenity. Walking around the grounds was so peaceful, and the design of the property allows for everything to be a short and convenient walk. It was nice to have a heated pool and hot tub just steps away to enjoy of the chilly nights. The property is also located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, and we took advantage of this each day. It is nice to have the option and convenience of walking to things in the area. We had 2 managers, Kevin and Aaron, check with us to see how our stay was going and discuss the property and area. It was clear to us that customer service is a focus for everyone at this property and it definitely shows. This property executes all of the important factors for us at an elevated level. The property and room were amazing, service was excellent, the food and drink offerings were top notch, and grounds are beautiful and added to the serene feeling we had during our visit. We will definitely be back to enjoy this oasis again soon!

Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows was a pleasure to visit. I travel for work and pleasure and have been to the area just about every year for the past 8 years all around February and March. I stay where work directs me and on personnel visits where I choose, March 2025 at the Andaz, was personnel. Online check in notified me that the room was not ready, rather than stay at an airport lounge, which I did stop at for ½ an hour, I ventured to the hotel about 2 hours before allowable check in. Anastasia at check in was helpful and secured my room within maybe 5 minutes of arrival and also magically providing a glass of wine while I waited. I am a globalist, which was recognized and I was reminded of the included breakfast. You are supposed to get an upgraded room if available, unsure if that occurred. My wife who arrived later than myself informed me we booked a wellness suite, which was sweet. Two rooms, two patios, two bathrooms, overall a really nice set up. I would want that room again. Daily turn down service with chocolate, was a nice touch. As was lowering the blinds. I just came off a visit to Jamacia staying at a Hyatt and another resort, service was better here, go figure Everyone was on their game from check in, to pool (Mo), to restaurant, to housekeeping. A coffee spill on the provided bathrobe with a note for a fresh robe was fulfilled. In short the entire team here was the A team, helpful and on their game. A very nice and well-maintained property, well equipped gym, several pools, fire pits and various activities. Very well located for a bike ride to explore the area (Echo canyon) or along the water way. Walking distance to restaurants. I did find out rather late that they have a shuttle to take you off site within a short radius, that was not conveyed to me. It’s a nice touch. Free coffee starting at 6:30 am in lobby area. Live music for brunch and dining one evening. If you want a relaxing property that checks off all the common amenities (pool, bar, gym, outdoor gathering areas, spa, not in the middle of nowhere), this is the place to try.

For $1k/night, one would expect an immaculate resort. There always seemed to be glassware lying around. No one ever seemed to pick up around the pool whether it was glassware or towels. AC didn’t function in the unit and got some lame excuse about a “software update”. All in all, just felt like a sloppy experience.

We stayed here for Dodgers spring training - it's far from the venue but the perks were too good to pass up if you're an Amex holder. Get a bungalow, they are quiet and spacious. If you're sound sensitive, I would definitely make sure you're in one of the rooms in the outer ring of the resort.
