As our 1 year wedding anniversary approaches, I would like to repost my review from our HORRIBLE experience. Do not book this venue “We express our profound disappointment regarding the course of events during our wedding day. Regrettably, our interaction with our designated wedding coordinator remained nonexistent throughout the entirety of the event. Furthermore, our initial preparation room, utilized on the morning of the wedding, was not serviced prior to our evening return. This oversight encompassed a plethora of concerns, including the overflowing waste cumulated while getting the whole bridal party ready, an absence of fresh linens and robes, and a makeup table occupying a significant portion of the bedroom remained in the room. In a prior request, we had specifically requested the provision of tables for our makeup and hair preparations in advance of the wedding day. However, this request was left unfulfilled, necessitating a subsequent call to the front desk to rectify the situation, thereby compromising our meticulously planned timeline. Our appointed shadow, who exhibited commendable diligence during the initial half of the day and evening, inexplicably disappeared after the speeches, leaving us without the vital support we had anticipated. Upon concluding our stay, we were presented with an unfavorable conclusion as no assistance was extended in handling our luggage and personal effects. This oversight was particularly exasperating. Despite being assured that our “appointed”venue coordinator would be readily available for our needs, our attempts to reach out to her on the night of the wedding went unanswered, leaving us without the promised support. For the price we paid, the level of service we received was markedly subpar, and we are inclined to provide a negative review of our wedding experience at this venue.”

This hotel is a hidden gem with beautiful views of the camelback mountains. The front desk service exceeds expectations (Marissa was exceptional!), with locally sourced produce and meats the food was delicious (be sure to try the pasta as it is homemade and can be made into GF homemade as well). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing oasis stay, home away from home.

I have stayed at this property multiple times, and have always enjoyed the architecture and the grounds. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Truly a throw-back to another era. The entertainment in the bar was excellent (James Cowden.)

The resort, rooms, grounds and staff are above and beyond. This is truly a gem among resorts anywhere. Take a step back from today and relax as you stroll through immaculate landscapes. Welcome to the oasis in the desert!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We especially enjoyed the dinner at T. Cooks. They had gluten free pasta which I was thrilled about. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage (can't remember the name) but it was out of this world! Like something I just ate in Italy this summer. The grounds are lovely and the views of camelback that we had from our room was spectacular. The banquet room looked really nice and I bet they have the most gorgeous weddings at this property!

We booked the 4-night package on Luxury Link and it was well worth it. The package was an amazing value! My wife and I spent four days there and wish we could have spent a few more. The food at T. Cook's was the best I have had in a while. The menu also offered a local-products-only meal, which was terrific. The spa was very nice and we fully enjoyed each of our treatments. The rest of the time was spent laying by the pool, shopping in the Scottsdale mall, and playing golf. I would recommend Royal Palms Resort and Spa to any and all.
