The Scott Resort & Spa

We have never stayed at this hotel, however we LOVE the restaurant and visit often. Kiara treated us so well, very kind and attentive. The environment is cozy and welcoming, smells wonderful, and is a place I enjoy just sitting a while after eating.

I celebrated my birthday with my daughters in Scottsdale at The Scott. We loved the lobby and pool area. Our room was nice with a courtyard view. The bathroom area is small but not a deal breaker. We loved the location because we walked to all of our restaurants.

We had a lovely stay as a family travelling with two kids under 3. Pool area was fabulous - pools nicely heated and the kids loved swimming even in January! Rooms and resort tastefully decorated. Restaurant lovely. Staff very friendly. Entire resort just a beautiful, well located and relaxing place. Check in easy, early check in was provided and very appreciated. A couple of things that are not complaints but just for others to be aware of: - while the room was not dirty, we did not find our room to be that “pristine clean” that you’d expect for a resort of this price range. We had small pockets of dust, minor scum build up in the bathrooms, some visible marks on walls. Fine for us, but some travellers would be bothered by this and it took away from the overall vibe of the place. - free pack and plays provided but it did not have a soft mattress at all and we had to significantly pad it with extra sheets and blankets (which housekeeping kindly provided). Again, we also didn’t find it to be clean and there were food crumbs in it. All in all, we’d stay again but only at the right price.

My husband and I went for my bday and had such an amazing time. Everyone was so accommodating and nice. Our AC was not working properly and Tom the handyman came to our rescue. He was so sweet and got it fixed so fast! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Tom and staff for making everything perfect!

Unfortunate stay. We did a staycation for our wedding anniversary and my wife who is expecting our first child. Zero extra accommodations were added for our special stay, the pool was closed for the 2nd day of our stay for a private event including a DJ playing club music (which we were not made aware of), slow service and unenthusiastic staff. All in all, we were looking for a relaxing stay to wind down and The Scott totally missed the mark. Bummer to see for a hotel that used to be such a gem. At this price point, I would expect better service and amenities but we were extremely let down. I would hope that the experience can be improved, but I don’t think we will be back to find out.
