Stop looking elsewhere and book this hotel. One of the biggest selling points is the design and the well appointed rooms. I'll get into that in a moment. The staff is first rate! Every interaction was met with a smile and a greeting. The moment I pulled up with the luggage, the bellman and valet attendant were ready to assist. I interacted with probably 4 or 5 different front desk agents/ attendants, who made the check in process easy and efficient. All the amenities were explained, and restaurants pointed out, including the clever ice refrigerators in the freezer drawers in front of the elevators on each floor. The rooms have all the details thought of, including the fun Nesspresso machine for single cup use. I have one at home, and loved this one too. There is a drawer with more treats and a separate drawer refrigerator, for other snacks and drinks for a charge. The menu located in the drawer. Lighting is carefully thought of, with different levels of light throughout, depending if you are working at the desk, or need the night light on near the bed. Even the lighted mirror in the bathroom was welcomed, when selecting a different hue of light for daytime makeup or something more dramatic at night. There are soaps and conditioners available for purchase if you like them, great scents! Full size bottles attached to the shower walls, and separate for the sink, providing a user friendly "green" experience instead of individual bottles. Hair dryer located in the drawers, and a fluffy robe in the closet to use during your stay, also available for purchase. THE BED!!! There is a comfortable mattress topper or foam something. It is one of the best night's sleep I have had in a long time. Knocked it outta da park on this one. Let's talk about the location. Its very centrally located just a couple blocks away from Westlake Center, Pike's Market, Cruise Terminals, Amazon, the downtown in general. Getting around on the Link light rail from the Westlake center is so easy, although for a more luxurious option, The Hotel Andra can arrange a private car to and from the airport or other specialty location. The Food choices in both Lola (Greek) and Assagio (Italian) were perfect. Tom Douglass greek influenced flavors showcased local ingredients, like salmon! I ordered the gavlox for breakfast. Assagio Restorante is led by owner and Chef Mauro Golmarvi. Its' true, first time diners are welcomed as if they are old friends. We orderd a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all. I didn't need to go far for first class food actually. To sum it up, try it all yourself. You will pinch yourself feeling well taken care of at the Hotel Andra... until next time.

I have to say that this rating is based on the revolting experience that we encountered in the bathroom of our Junior Suite. Whilst showering after check-in my husband noticed a large clump of wiry black hair under his foot, it was as large as a fist full...we took a photo and proceeded down to the front desk to complain to the front desk manager Mr Andrea, he showed great concern and went to the room to inspect the said hair...prior to the shower I had noticed some suspicious spots on the part of the toilet that connects to the cistern and also thought the carpet looked grotty. After inspecting the hair and getting someone to remove it, at our request he ordered a deep clean of the room whilst we were given a voucher and sent off to the bar for a drink...on our return the room felt clean and the carpet actually looked cleaned, I have my suspicions that the room wasn't cleaned at all before we checked in. I have thought about adding the photo of the hair to this review but it is so repulsive and out of respect to Mr Andrea who did the right thing and gave us the room for half price the first night I will with hold it. Hopefully this incident will bring about some changes to their cleaning regimes and training for their staff. Such a shame as the Hotel does have some positives, the restaurant and bar is very good and the location excellent, The food in the Italian restaurant next door was exceptional. I would look for different accommodation next time in Seattle.

My partner and I recent stayed three nights at Hotel Andra in Seattle. Sandra, Eric and Areco in particular really assisted us with a difficult moment after the conclusion of our stay when a complete outage at our Australian bank meant that we might have needed to stay another night. They moved heaven and earth to secure us a room in case we needed it, and when the banking issue was resolved and we no longer needed the room they were very understanding and cancelled the reservation at no cost. I can honestly say that having exceptional staff of this kind when issues like this arise when you are travelling is so important. So thank you Hotel Andra and Sandra, Eric and Areco for your proactive and empathetic assistance. It is for actions like this that we will always recommend you guys to any of our travelling friends. We give Hotel Andra and their fabulous staff our highest recommendation .

I felt it was important to write this review to warn other guests who are interested in staying at this hotel as I had experienced theft. I booked a 5 day trip to the Seattle area to do some hiking and explore the city. I checked into hotel Andra on a Tuesday night. I took my earrings off and set them in a jewelry pouch on the dresser near the tv the night I arrived. Wednesday and Thursday I was away from the hotel on hiking trips around colchuck lake and mt Rainer. I do not wear jewelry on hikes so I had not touched my jewelry pouch since the day I arrived. Friday I planned to explore the city of Seattle and wanted to wear my jewelry but it was nowhere to be found. I checked my suit case, shaking out each individual piece of clothing 2x, checked under and around furniture, checked areas I never even used in the room, checked my friends luggage and nothing. At this point I knew it was gone so I filed a missing items report with the front desk and management. Between taking the time to look for the jewelry, filing the complaint, and talking to management this really took away from my trip. After management talked to the staff regarding my missing items, my jewelry magically appeared right atop my clothing, a place I had thoroughly checked before leaving the hotel for that day. Where I found the jewelry is also not where I know I left it. After talking to staff and reviewing camera footage I was informed the mini bar comes daily to check the room to take inventory and restock, however I drank a vos water which is a mini bar item early into the trip that I was never charged for nor restocked during my stay. It raises a red flag to me that the mini bar employee was not doing her duties and still proceeded to be in my hotel room daily. I was also informed by staff the cleaning crew comes every 3rd day but for some reason came in on the 2nd day as shown on camera footage, however nothing was cleaned, no garbage was taken and no new towels were layed out which raises again a red flag to me. After getting home from my trip and unpacking I noticed not only was my jewelry stolen, but it was returned damaged. The staff member that took the jewelry put some sort of acidic liquid on my necklace to see if it was solid gold (it’s not) which is why my necklace has brown spots on it which is also why I’m assuming she returned it. I am so dissatisfied with the staff and service at this hotel handling my personal items. I would suggest if you choose to stay at hotel Andra to leave your do not disturb sign on your door at all times and schedule times with the mini bar employee where you can be present as she checks the mini bar as well as the cleaning crew staff since this incident caused so much stress and time away from my trip. I had to buy replacement jewelry which was a couple hundred dollars to repurchase and my formal complaint I gave to management went ignored.

The Wifi at the Andra is just awful. I've complained on two differnt days at the front desk, and they admit it's a problem. I've left to do some work in a coffee shop, so don't expect to get any work done in your room if you stay here. I couldn't even reach the Hotel Andra website! On the other hand, the room is wonderful. It is spacious, with a sitting area with cool mustard-colored velvet sofa. The touches of color in the room are great, with an interested patterned carpet on the floor. The mattress and pillows are too mushy, but some might like that. Everything you need is in the room-- a Nespresso machine, lockbox, great smelling body wash and shampoo, iron, etc. The lobby is roomy, with a fire burning behind a large glass cover and lots of seating. Unfortunately, the almost non-working WiFi means I probably wouldn't stay here again.
