Reviews for Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle

Don't waste your money

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Under construction and access to lobby is odd ( on 2nd floor). The room was in need of a serious update. Phone next to toilet?? . Minibar has no room for your own refreshments. Felt like a 2-3 star room for a 4-5 star price. Theres no parking included theres only valet parking at $65 per day. They are likely using the parkade for construction access.??? Don’t waste your money go somewhere else thats not under construction.

Very disappointed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

I don’t even know where to start. This hotel costed $400 per night. I booked 3 nights and left after first night. The owner doesn’t care about customers AT ALL. 1) look at the photo of drapes. They were all ripped! Is this okay they think for 4* hotel?? 2) The bathroom door handle broke as soon as I touched it. The photo that you see is already AFTER they repaired it for 1(!) hour. Imagine. The handle wasn’t nailed at all when I checked in. And even repair didn’t help. 3) There was a smell of socks, and it was very dusty 4) I booked king bed and there were only 2 pillows on a bed. Does the hotel experience a shortage of pillows? Where are the rest of pillows? 5) water in toilet didn’t stop after I flushed. To conclude, I showed the photos and addressed all issues to front desk. The hotel doesn’t cost this money at all. The manager didn’t even reach out to me!! I don’t like packing and moving to another hotel but to pay for this $400 per night is ridiculous. So I have to post this to warn people. Give me back my money for 2 nights that I didn’t stay! I’m still waiting for my refund. I’m absolutely disappointed and it wasn’t expected from 4* hotel.

Great Staff but Disappointing Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

First off the hotel staff was excellent. EVERYONE was friendly and quick. I also had an amazing view of the Space Needle. Unfortunately, I had issues with my stay. I booked this hotel as the Pan Pacific several months ago, but it is now a different hotel. No big deal except that the hotel is going through a major reconstruction. The restaurant is closed. The biggest issue was my room - it smelled SO BAD. Like old BO that had been there so long it was permanently soaked into the room. I opened the window for 24 hrs but it did not help. Also, one out of two lamps in the room did not work (one next to the bed), nor did any plugs on the same wall the bed was on. The hotel is outdated. I am sure it will be great once the renovation is done.

Great stay

Although hotel is under construction the customer service was excellent. Room beautiful and the most comfortable bed. Location is awesome with a whole foods attached for a simple breakfast in the morning. The fitness centre was excellent - so spacious.

Dissapointed experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Terrible stay…changing brands mid month….restaurant torn up for remodel but still charged full price $75+ for a less than Holiday Inn Express type buffet in a conference room. Clearly no one cares about the guests’ experience and the Pan Pacific brand should be ashamed to be affiliated with this hotel.
