Amara is a gem among the Sedona hotels. Perhaps you've heard about Sedona's stunning Red Rocks-they are a tad bit famous (for good reason). The scenery here is almost impossibly beautiful, as if an artist made the entire horizon his canvas. Fortunately for all who visit, the Red Rocks are very real and provide the stunning backdrop for our world-class boutique hotel, Amara Resort.

I went to the spa for a deep tissue massage, had it with a gal named Kimberly. Not many massage therapists are very good at deep tissue massage. Kimberly was exceptional! The pressure and technique go hand in hand. She was absolutely great! Explained as she massaged (Some people don't like to talk, but I appreciate the explanation and benefits each technique does to your muscles and body) I am most definitely coming back and asking exclusively for Kimberly. I'm a deep tissue massage junkie and very picky! I highly recommend Kimberlt for this type of massage.

Very nice resort, well worth the cost. Didn't use the pool or spa, or walk along the creek due to it raining. I would recommend staying here, especially for 2 or 3 nights. We had a great view right next to the creek, and some of the best Sedona Rocks.

To celebrate our 45th anniversary and my husband’s birthday I set up a couple’s massage at Amara. I am thrilled with our experience from beginning to end. The :60 massage felt like a luxurious :90 minutes, not feeling rushed at all. All the little extra details made the cost so, so worth it. Kim found every tight muscle and ache making me feel completely relaxed and stress free. Absolutely the greatest feeling. Maria was just as effective for my husband who is now taking a blissful nap. Do not hesitate to book a massage at Amara. Every moment is worth it.

Our stay at Amara was just what we were looking for - a great experience at a reasonable value. The resort feels small and private and we had no big issues. The location is lovely - tucked away while still walkable to uptown Sedona restaurants and shops. The staff was super friendly!

Amazing spa, dinning and views. We dined multiple times at SaltRock and loved it each time. The valet staff was so easy to work with and quick. My wife and I did 3hr spa treatments and it was totally magical. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and we are picky travelers!
